Maybe something like from Battlefield 4 where you can just join a squad in a match to encourage teamwork because I feel a little bit safer when I’m in a squad if that’s an option like in Battlefield 4.
And anyone’s free to expand or improve my idea.

creating an in-game squad, which then allows you to talk with the mic, talk strategies etc.

Agreed. But also a chat function from main menu to people on your friends list would be really helpful in arranging squading up pre match.

Thus making this feature completely pointless since everyone will be muted by default because of trolls.
Sure. Some players would always keep VOIP disabled.
While others would always have their microphone enabled.
Rather than removing this technology that’s existed for more than 20 years… Allow each person to make their own choice.
