The Soviets had the Winchester 1895, which was better than the Mosin-Nagant. With proper training, it could perform on par with SMG.

in other words, are you suggesting that the Soviets leave only a obrez PPSH for 2BR? I’ve never seen such an offer from anyone before.
We need to go further, the Soviet REVOLVER NAGAN, based on the rate of fire, can work as an SMG.

Absolutely, this pocket-sized beast is my go-to choice. Frankly speaking, any SMG dealing less damage than the MAS-38 has no business being in BR3.

With damage lower than a obrez PPSh, I’d rather just use the TT-33.
but it shoots in automatic mode and it can be given to as many as 9 fighters in the squad, don’t you see what a Russian bias this is?! No one else has an automatic pistol in pumping
The OVP M1918 and Beretta m1918 has higher damage than the pps 43 and a rate of fire of 1040 rounds per minute, so it surpasses the pps 43 in firepower
maybe it should also be raised to the 3rd level along with a conditional improvement in accuracy?

Oh please, these two ‘masterpieces’ of ergonomic disaster can barely be aimed properly! And let’s not kid ourselves - at 10 meters they’re only dealing a whopping 0.1 more damage than the PPS-43. Such firepower! Much superiority! Wow.
It’s possible, and the OVP payoff isn’t much worse.
I’m generally playing with it for 5 BR and I’m not complaining.
