The solution to the kamikaze problem

Often, some players use the plane as a missle, which is absurd.(I think no one will argue?Or do you think using an plane as a missle is the norm?)
First of all, it deprives the player of observing the correct battle (No one on the eastern/western front has ever used an plane as a missle).
Secondly, it deprives fighters of work.
Perhaps there are other reasons. But for me enough of these.

After thinking a little and reading other suggestions on this problem, I decided that devs should do this:
1.The player gains experience only when he returns to replenish ammunition.
2.In the ammunition replenishment zone, the player can abandon the plane.(presumably there is a notification that by clicking some button you will cease to be a pilot and will be able to choose another squad, but if you not get damage 30 seconds).
3.A player who loses a plane through his own fault receives a fine of -200 points.(If the plane was destroyed and was not credited to anyone).
4.Another fine is also added to the 3rd point.
A player cannot take a plane (any one, even if you, golden shahid, have three slots with bombers) until he plays for 4 squads.

I think it can change the planes for the better. And also to reduce the number of missiles.

This will not make the “missile” disappear, but it will clearly reduce their number.

It should ONLY be ok to suicide bomb with a plane IF one day the Japanese faction is implemented. I’d even go as restricting their starting fuel so they don’t have enough to rearm and MUST suicide bomb :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

But any other faction shouldn’t.

I would argue that using planes as a suicide bomber is essential in Berlin and Normandy. Especially the Stuka which struggles to get to rearm points and back in a timely manner.

Enlisted is not a historical game, and you’re wrong, the Germans did do a few suicide attacks on the Allies using modified Bf-109s and the Germans even explored the possibility of manned V-1s.

Fighters are supposed to be reactionary, not preemptive

This means that even if you have a successful bombing run and then get shot down en route to the rearm point, you get no score from it.

We already have the ability to jump out of the aircraft anywhere on the map and spawn on the ground after parachuting, this is an unneeded feature, just jump out of the plane, die as the pilot on the ground and get a new squad.

Not a large enough fine to make any player care, plus what if the aircraft crashes due to ping/lag issues? No real way to distinguish that from purposely crashing.

You’re fishing for ways to punish players from desperate measures

Missiles, like it or not, will always be around, its the most effective way to take out a tank or mass infantry, plus you can get an extra kill from the aircraft hitting someone.

Big doubt on that

How do I react to a bomber that will bomb my team in a matter of seconds and then crash?

That’s the only way:
suka blyat
Otherwise you dont can react.

I guess you are right.
All we can do is curse them so hard that they will start crying so hard, they won’t see the respawn button.

Despite the fact that it is written about it somewhere. And as for the planes, these planes were special, but not ordinary.

You don’t

Only late war Japan.
There were no kamikazes in early war Japan.

We have Jumbo Shermans, Ross Rifles, M2 Carbines, etc. in Normandy. We got the Berdan II and other heavily antiquated rifles that would never see wide spread usage. This game is not supposed to be historical to perfection so using the argument of how suicide bombings were uncommon in the Western theatre is pointless.

Great gameplay design. Enemy can do whatever he wants with slight limitations and you can’t react.

I can one tap you from a bush with a sniper rifle, you can’t react, is that bad game design?

It’s different.
Not historically weapons and the whole phenomenon of shahids are different.

Another stupid comparison.

The argument of “historicalness” which is used in both avenues of discussion is pointless at dismissing either.

Thank you for your input

Indeed, 25% of the weapons that were added due to the fact that they were in some quantity at that time = the whole phenomenon of missiles.

I can react. I’ll shot you from a building with my 2nd soldier.

Your equation here is not making much sense

If this is in response to my comments on the Berdan, then I would suggest you look into its history. As for the Ross, there were some numbers of it, back in North America. For the M2 Carbine it wasn’t given an order for mass production till September 1944. The Jumbo similarly wouldn’t reach Europe till late September 1944

Not if my sniper immediately suicided after shooting you, much like a suicide plane.
