Imagine whether a new player would prefer to fight with AI or be submerged by HMG, tanks, planes, explosive bags and white phosphorus incendiary bombs
What’s more, it’s close to a pure AI game. It doesn’t matter if there is more bots.
Therefore, Making PvE and Expanding the battle scale will not do harm. It will only give players more space to fight, and it can also effectively reduce the intensity of tank camping in gray areas (large range of flanks) and aircraft bombing (pilots need to judge where there are enemies rather than indiscriminate bombing)
A PvE mode would help new players and people that want to take a break from sweats, ive been told its already in development but well have to wait to see.
You want to know what would really help new players ?
Short hyperlink menu video tutorials
Now since that’s been properly addressed with my amazing perception and problem solving skills can you please stop ruining my favourite video-game with skill issue forum proposals ?
Would video tutorials really help? Think about it how many players are playing enlisted that haven’t played Cod, Battelfield, HLL, or some other fps.
My first matches on enlisted were easy (probably because Ive been playing fps for 13 years and because the game just released on PS4) the game isn’t difficult.
You get bolt action rifles immediately and they are arguably the best weapons in the game.
The problem most players will face is PC sweats, the ones that use small squads lean around corners, only use StG-44s, and have 10 grams of Gfuel in their blood, these guys are a pain to deal with the moment you kill them because if they start to lose they will ether camp the gray zone with a tank or spam the **** out of artillery.
New players could get fed up with the slow progression as well, the moment i started playing i realized i was going to need to be patient to level up without premium.
Enlised isn’t perfect but its my favourite game, i like the squad system, the weapon variety, realistic tank combat, and the toxic community.
I just wish i could find a lone fighter match that isn’t filled with PC sweats
There is a saying in my country:
" people learn how to f… by getting f…ed in life"
So nah
%99 percent of players even never notice there is a tutorial in game before playing probably.
I and a lot of good players curmstomped time and time again to learn properly. Real life practice is the best way of practice.
I would love to see a PvE mode.
The fact that each team has a completely different size of player base is both an attraction and a drawback to this game. For example, Normandy and Pacific have more people playing AXIS and less Alied. So many matches are not fair.
I also understand that enjoying what is not fair is a feature of the game, but sometimes I would like to have access to an environment where I can play anytime I want without getting beat up by advanced players.
If you want players to just have fun, you should add a PvE mode.
… but it is a difficult task. Because I think this game is not player friendly and that’s why it maintains its player base.
The strength of the advanced players in this game is apart from player skill, it is the strong squads that they have invested time or money to develop. Advanced players use all of this to beat beginners. They climax, drowning in a flood of brain matter, confirming the value of their investment. Newcomers to the game will find Enlisted to be a game that demands a tremendous “investment of time or money” and will leave within a few days. Those who don’t walk away want to invest the same amount of time and money to get stronger and beat the experts. I believe that these pain bound players are what make up the core player base of the game.
If the developers suddenly changed their minds, Enlisted players would be able to enjoy PvE mode casually and challenge themselves to PvP when they want to test their strength. When the game becomes a “benign game” that does not bind players in this way, the player base that has been held together by pain will collapse. The majority of players will only play PvP for a limited amount of time and matching will collapse. Advanced players will no longer see the point of the time and money invested, developers will not be able to raise money, and the game will be out of service.
I like Enlisted very much and I am inclined to improve the pain points. But the pain is what keeps players in this game in the first place. So if the status quo is to be changed, I think they need to radically rethink how they retain the player base and the money collection system before just adding PvE. for PvE to be a proper content, they need to improve the performance of the bot more than it is now, and they need to improve the performance of the bot more than it is now.
Imho the more you play the more “PvE”matches you get, where opposing team is just one player trying to do something.
It changes on weekends but mid-week it’s really visible.
On a bonus side, if it’s you who is just that one guy on the team of bots, you can’t top the leaderboard just by scoring 20 kills with a mortar lol
Could easily make such video tutorial that suggest new players to fuck off immediatly once spotted such activity.
As the developers seems to be completely incapable of doing proper matchmake.
Not sure what you mean, average enlisted player can easily progress as long as they play 12h/day for 1-2 years straight. I dont think thats too much of asked from a game thats supposed to be fun instead of second job.
there is zero need for a PVE mode, simply because this already exists.
Just play unpopular campaigns, or those with a very one sided playerbase.
There are campaigns where you literally can not lose as long as you have a group to play with, and there is nothing more boring than waiting 1000 tickets for a AI enemy to get out of their spawn, until you can finally getting a challenging game.
Isn’t a custom match supposed to be a PvE match? Or could be. Real players join? Yeah why not add some spicy and learn how real players behave instead of bots. Learn from it. You don’t get XP though…
