The planes are way too powerful. A single plane can dominate an entire map. Almost half of every missions lost can be blamed on the planes basically preventing the other team from really playing the game much less winning. Suggestions: nerf the the ability of the planes to shoot through walls, barriers, etc. Increase drag on turns to cut down on pass frequency. Add Anti-Aircraft guns to the maps.

Well i use more aa to kill infantry than plane but uf we have the possibility of use the flack88 scattered around the map maybe this a little help to balance the things
I hear this all the time, yet I never have struggles. If a plane does a pass and kills me, I immediately get in the air and take it out, then go back on the ground to continue if nothing else spawns. Engineer AA isnât nearly as bad as people say it is against air either, just need to actually practice with it.

boosting the AA (damage and speed) or nerfing the planes (damage they can sustain) is fine and serves to balance everything.
the problem arose because the 20mm AA does little damage to the planes and not being able to move it is practically useless against them, different speech when you kill the infantry with it, there would be various ways to solve the thing as I have already said above or adding mobile AA, but the problem remains that mobile AA is categorized as a vehicle so you have to choose Mobile AA or a tank, AA is lethal against infantry so everyone will use it to kill infantry instead of planes.
so there is no real way to fix it unless the maps get bigger and this makes the use of aviation more limited and this make possible to add mobile AA.
i cant counter planes bc i need to use tanks for supporting my team and clear the path, 90% of the games my team do nothing.
with the 2 day premium of the twitch drops i havenât had problems with planes, the second a plane kill me i pick the fighter shoot down the enemy plane and suicide, spawn with the tank and support the team.
but without premium i cant have 2 veichles, the best solution in my opnion is open a âfree slotâ for fighter planes stock without bomb rocket ecc ecc.
The thing about AA is that even if it OHKed planes and was everywhere, you would still be taking an entire infantry squad out of the game on the off-chance that youâll be able to see a plane in time to maybe hit it and shoot it down.
And even if you bring it down it probably still already dropped its bombs on the objective. Then the next plane will spawn immediately.
AA in Enlisted is flawed because itâs a big investment for, at best, little impact.
If we want to solve the plane problem, we need to determine and agree on what exactly we expect planes to be doing, so we know what to limit.
~Do we want planes nuking objectives?
~Do we want planes nuking tanks?
~Do we want planes nuking other hardpoints?
~How often and how easily should all of this be done?

Yep but if some plane are getting too annoying your teams engineers job is to build AAâs or better spawn as fighter pilot and remove them. But iâm also against any more nerfs, #stopthenerf

I just finished a match where the enemy had ONE bomber up from start to finish, we had a fighter pilot up, and he had extreme brain damage to a point he just kept bombing with 50kgs instead of going for the enemy bomber.
Stop nerfing things because the playerbase has a combined IQ of a houseplant.

Maybe Iâm wrong, but you cant repair a plane. So if you hit it even once with an AA gun, the plane will became unstable or slow (or both). So what I want to say is, to cripple a plane is equal of destroying it, because of the resupply time will become so long, the pilot will rather suicide into the ground.
Therefore 1 or 2 AA hits basicly kills a plane.
It was the case with the old damage models, but now that theyâve been updated to be more durable, planes donât give a shit most of the time.
One good AA hit and the plane is largely disabled. Iâve been hit by one stray AA round today and it crippled 90% of my plane, I flew as far as the re-arm point, and then the plane just gave up.
AA is far more effective than people give it credit for. They expect an instant kill from the second they press LMB rather than crippling it and having it die a minute or two later, giving them the kill for it anyway.
I can confirm, one good burst of the AA and the plane will have a bad time.
With a bit skill, the AA can keep Normandy free of planes. I tried it once and got like 15+ plane kills.
I didnât went for objective but tried to control the airspace, so my teammates wonât get destroyed that hard.
Went pretty well but we lost eventually because nobody was at the cap.

Either would be fine. Decrease plane hp or boost the flak, they already one shot infantry anyway. An added bonus to the flak could be to add some armor penetration against tanks seeing as they were used for AT purposes as well as AA.
Haardly anyone else is going to sit at an AA looking at the sky all the match since most people care too much about xp and bringing down planes gives too little of it (actually less than killing a tank since thereâs only one crew member).
Man, when I hear people talking about AA guns, fighters and stuff like that Iâm laughing my ass off.
Do you realise that is almost impossible for anyone to stop me when Iâm spam bombing? By the time anyone spots me, Iâve already launched my bombs and what they do afterwards doesnât matter in the slightest.

The core problem is the cooldown time for selecting the planes that youâve already used, which is too low, itâs around 10-15 seconds of waiting after doing a suicide run. If they add like 5 minutes cooldown (maybe even more) then that might do the trick, but donât quote me on it. Another problem is clearing capture points on invasion mode single-handedly, without any care in the world that I might hurt my teammates aswell. Thatâs game breaking for me, especially on Normandy. They need to either fix the capture points and provide enough cover for infantry on every single one of them or enable friendy fire for bombers and make it fair game for both teams.
