The place of Volkssturm weapons in the new progression tree

Well, that’s actually a really good idea.
Make them a side branch of the progression tree so that no normal weapon is locked behind them and available only on Berlin maps

I would grudgingly accept this with Moscow as “Eastern Front 1941-1944” and Tunisia as “North Africa 1940-1943” but Stalingrad and Berlin are too well recreated to be lobotamized.

And accordingly, stuff like Volkssturm weapons or Tiger 2s could ever be seen in North Africa.

So looser frames - sure. Full insanity - no, thanks.

I mean, it would be a “meme” unlock anyway because MP-3008 or VG-2 are really nothing amazing.
So you’d already have the STGs and FGs and K98s and then you’d be prompted to quickly unlock Volkssturm weapons for extra chad points.
(in fact, something like this was done in BF1 when the latest and often shitty weapons with the Apocalypse DLC were objectively crap, but a challenge to unlock and play with/humiliating to get killed with – kinda like Nagant revolver now).

daym, i guess custom games it is then.

This doesnt help new players that still do need to grind everything. Needing to unlock 4 bad weapons first doesnt really feel like progress (bonus points for grindy high BR stuff).

What do you mean “first”?
My idea is that VS weapons would be the final “optional” unlock, so that no “real” weapon is locked behind VS weapons.

Which at the end he also uses as argument for the Jumbo.
But its not German stuff and not Eastern Front so you probably dont care.

Whats the big differences there except functional gunplay?

When did I say Jumbo was fine?
However it is late by a matter of weeks and not as mad as Tiger ii in Tunisia.

One is arcadey shooter where in 5 minutes you can run different guns, tanks and planes and the other is slow paced hardcore squad based game?
I really need to spell this out? Please

Hmmmm…maybe it was made up by battlefield V.

At a quick search cant find reference to one except an obscure comment. Not sure

Oh well…

At least I can still dream they will let this being used by riflemen instead…

They were not ever fully automatic.
All of them were made semi-auto.
BF5 just made the full auto to be more interesting.

Most likely the case. Not fussed enough to really look to hard

but my god the automatic version was fun in BF V

Any tank in this game can be countered by aircraft, smoke and explosives, even in War Thunder it never worked, as there’s air in any gamemode as far as i remember. His argumentation is lousy.

I love the smoke argument and laugh more when I just drive forward or fire into smoke nade screen with HE and kill the plebs.

If one side needs planes and the other side not, its not balanced and doesnt make fun.

Which is why most tanks just camp in greyzone.

Also the Premium belt-fed DP which is a post-war RP-46.

Your argument are about defective maps where you simply spam HE into same window and get kills.
Tanks ought to stay in “grey zones”, its how they do in real life.

Which are most maps in Enlisted.

Thanks to confirm the greyzone camping I guess.
