Excluding the IL, all Soviet attackers have tail gunners. So I dont know how the Stuka is able to have this as an advantage but not the Pes and SB. IL is spongy so you can wait until the German needs to reload.

The gunners arenât a big advantage per se combat wise, but they do help when they start to fire because they alert you of an enemy plane behind you. Being alerted however does not help when the plane youâre flying handles like a brick and you canât shake off the tail. The ju87 handles like a dream compared to the PE and with a decent pilot it can trade punches with the IL2. However, the PEs are outclassed by their counterparts in terms of speed and handling and even though you have rear gunners, you canât escape an engagement.
