The game doesn`t feel rewarding

I must be not alone in this, but the experience gain is just too painful to watch when you dont have premium time, the experience percentage buff bound to duration of a game seems to punish good players with high scores for ending games quickly, like, you can earn 3500 points in 5 minutes or 10 minutes, but in first situation you will get much less experience even if you are on top of a winning team, and the grind is just too slow even for 10+ levels. I suggest that good and dedicated players dont have to be required to have premium in order to progress through the campaigns, it should be a bonus, not an obligation, and for that the time bound should be removed and make only your perfomance (point count) decide how much you`ve earned, it wouldnt be too bad if a good player can get up to 10-15k exp in a game for getting the high score, getting 4-6k exp for carrying your team to victory, when the game didnt last long enough for exp multipliers to work, is just humiliating.

That was a predictable answer, I cant spare 25 euros cos there are no euros to earn in my country, and the reason because I am saying all this is because I do build things, earn kills, mostly on top of the leaderboard, and still get nothing in terms of progress, these are words of a traumatized person, I am talking facts, not everyone are born in rich countries, but despite that all kinds of dedication deserve equal appreciation, if you think different - you are to blame

I’m sorry. But unfortunately that’s how the world is built.
F2P games where there is no P2W are so made that if you want the same as the paying you have to spend twice as much time on it.
I don’t live in a rich country either. But I work, I am often away from home for two or three weeks, and although this is how I compensate for the lack of free time.

You only need to spend $20 during sale to get year of premium it’s really cheap, soon they will have another sale (may victory sale). PS imagine being a cuck with a wife that controls your money lmao man up

The thing is the time multiplier, you can play a 15 minute match with like 1500 score and get as much as you would get in 5 minute match with 3000 score, there is no such thing even in War Thunder of all games

War thunder has rp multipliers for longer games, while sl doesn’t really care about length of the matches but the actions while Enlisted is all about selfish point farming since kills and rally once a while give the most xp.

There is no currency in game but experience, orders are just a limiting tool for not having all good things at once, and the amount of exp you get even for deliberate point farming is too low, premium or not, it is simply too low, 6-8k exp per good game is nothing in context of even one campaign level, and there are 45x12 of them, if you think that paying the subscription for just playing the game is fine, then they should have made it like WoW and dont allow f2p players to play at all

Progression is even too slow with premium acc and premium squad. Honestly that 200% xp gain should be standard for everyone and premium should be much higher (400% and even higher with premium squads on top of that).
Idea of only paid players being able to play is incredible dumb it would never work for any f2p fps game and only few mmos have those subs while at same time they sill have trial to play for free till certain level (so like our Stalingrad f2p campaign that locks 40% of stuff under paywall). Even right now with f2p and crossplay we have huge issue in matches with half of the players being bots after your change there would be matches with me being only living player with 19 bot squads running all over the map. How that’s going to help the game?

It is not, if they have made a f2p game, not a subscription based mmo, then they have to have to hold the f2p playerbase somehow, I ve played a game for a month or something and the progression speed feels so dumb I feel like I am achieving nothing at snale`s pace, and I just dont want to play the game much anymore, paying should be an option, not an obligation, it is a game after all, not a free demo of it, like, even in War Thunder the progression isnt as bad, at least until rank 4, making people to earn 8k exp of 100k required for LEVEL 10 is a bit too much, and I am not even asking for general increase of exp gain, I am asking for justice in perfomance/rewards ratio, if you want more - you play better

Not if you go for one of the big three I suppose. But even then, having to spade 4-5 identical vehicles in a row that each start off with no basic parts, no FPE and often with no effective ammo at their BR is atrocious in it’s implementation. Planes are a bit more forgiving if you know your stuff but it’s still a chore.

In the end let’s face it. All of the games under the Gaijin brand have interesting, and often unique gameplay. Great premise. Fun gameplay. And the ever increasing, ever more soulcrushing grind specifically designed to milk the playerbase for cash. I don’t like it but it’s their business model. For what it’s worth there’s no repair cost and there’s nothing stopping me from having fun with a basic k98 or the relatively basic gewher43 for example. If and when higher tier, and higher level players start having access to plated body armor or 5-10 times the HP that makes them near immune to non premium or non top shelf gear, and if and when they decide to add a new currency in the vein of silver lions and repair cost mechanics I’ll personally call it quits.

This is a session game, with no end. Your reward is only satisfaction from your results.

Yes, I am totally having fun even with basic carbines, except mosins maybe, and I mostly play Pacific or Moscow, its something fascinating in early war periods, cos they are more infantry reliant, but how long can the fun last, when there is nothing behind it, not even fancy numbers going higher? Yes, the grind in WT is soul crushing, I ve got to rank 5 in both trees with most nations except Sweden, in more that a year with premium vehicles, although obtained in f2p ways and on sales, the thing is, if comparing progression between the two, Enlisted is just unbearable, 45x12 levels with the progression worse that in WT, cos the games last longer, not even premium account can remedy this, they have announced new progression system, but the game have to live til then AND it has to be simply ways better then current one to have a chance, the curse of Gaijin dont have to be that hard for people to get the sense of it

And at least in WT, despite how slow progression there might be, you have that fancy numbers going higher factor, namely sl, “order” things dont ring that bell at all

Yeah, the fancy numbers keep going up. And let me tell you, having to pony up say 1-2m silver lions for a new vehicle, spend another 300-400k on repairs, per game, and up to several times more depending on the current gaijin balancing, until it’s upgraded enough so it’s basically not fodder is real… fun. So you end up playing the spaded favorites, ideally meta and premium ones with a good multiplier and CAS ad nauseum to be able to stay afloat and keep playing. That’s with premium. Play modern tanks or God forbid naval and you’ll bleed SLs no matter how good, lucky or liberal in using your credit card you actually are.

I agree that the grind is painful. It’s designed to be. I agree that it sucks. C’est la vie.

But, count your blessings. Saying or even borderline implying how War Thunder has preferable progression or less of a grind to anything including but not limiting trying to dig from Florida to China with a plastic tea spoon is insulting to anyone who experienced it. That game puts certain korean MMORPGs to shame and then some.

Just play for fun while it’s fun. It’s not a race, and there will always be a new shiny carrot to chase. If you only do that you’ll burn out in no time.

You are totally right, the only reason I have positive sl gain is because I am playing mostly rank 3-4 premiums, when you simply cant lose sl for repairs, those are personal preferences cos I find rank 5+ gameplay boring and never set goals to reach mbts, even then repair costs for rank 4 props are inexplainable for me, when you lose sl for 2.5 kills in won game air rb. I simply have nothing to add to your reply, there is always hope at least for Gaijin`s newer projects, if not - well, Riots are making a new free fighting game…

So far it’s fairly accessible to both f2p players and those that have other engagements. Again, the grind is heavy and I assume it will only get heavier, but at least you’re not forced into playing a specific way to be able to continue playing. The events so far gave decent awards not requiring you to chain yourself to your PC and treat the game as you would a second job and one good thing is about the nature of the game itself.

Not all tanks or planes are created equal and facing an “uptier” here is significantly less painful than in WT by any stretch. A patient, proficient or at least a lucky player can still contribute and kill even armed with a matchlock because he’s shooting other soldiers. There’s no hull down, full uptier, armored up the exaust cold war+ tanks that snipe you from 1-2km away that you have no hope of penning at that range or that angle from your stock WW2 model. And as of yet there’s no penalty, upkeep or “tithe” for playing the game. You lost? Shit happens. Try again. Significantly less painful than being steamrolled and then punished for being in an objectively no win situation.

It’s also very decent of them to provide meaningful incentive to play and excel at different roles including support. World of difference between getting a 1.2 multiplier on your experience in addition to decent base amount to getting a flat 50rp for putting out a fire on some stock burning ally.

I mean, yes, at least there are no penalties for losing or dying, I have to admit its a breath of fresh air after playing mostly WT, I am sure they will tranfer this to their new progression system as well, because there would be no sense otherwise sinse you dont control deaths of your squad bots, also, when I tried Normandy for quest, I ve managed to kill a literal Tiger with stock Stuart, by sheer luck I ve detonated his ammorack after a dozen of shots, and if I was not to succeed - I wouldnt have to pay the fine at least, I guess their new Enlisted silver shall be used for equipment and customisation, but the rp gain should be higher by default anyway.
