The Final Solution

As you (Darkflow) know, new players can no longer unlock legacy squads when they play Enlisted, meaning they can’t unlock squads from famous divisions such as the 24th Panzer Division, 101st Airborne, and 82nd Airborne. This is my solution: when a player unlocks a Rifleman II, he also unlocks the squad in the current tech tree along with all the legacy Rifleman II squads.

Example:
If a player were to unlock the 22nd Marine Regiment (Assaulter II), he would not just get the 22nd Marine Regiment, but he would also receive the 10th Infantry Brigade, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Brigade, and the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment.

Squads that are unlocked automatically at the start (Rifleman I, etc.) will also receive their legacy squads.

i think it should be a slight variation, thus giving veterans something and not punishing them for you know having stuck with the game
10th Infantry Brigade (B)? 10th Infantry Brigade 1941 ?
more squads is always good
or b they could enough weapons say skinned
The Model Of 1903 Springfield: A Collector's Perspective ...

If you wanted this post to be taken seriously, maybe give it a different title

I don’t see it as punishing to veterans if new players also got to have the same legacy squads they have. There might be some legacy squads that even veterans (such as myself) don’t have.

And what about legacy weapons some of them like the ppsh for German need to be in TT or GO in some way…

I would get smited instantly if I suggested anything about what you guys are referencing. I don’t want to see that in this game anyways.

Titles don’t decide if threads are taken seriously; their contents are. If you don’t support its contents, you can either ignore it or leave an explanation for why you don’t support it. Also, I did not see this comment under another thread with almost the exact wording of my title, so what gives?

They don’t have to add the weapons, just the squads. It would be fine if they added weapons that were removed from the game along with the legacy squads. My main goal in making this thread was to offer a suggestion that would utilize current assets in squad customization to its fullest extent, solving the Legacy Squad question once and for all. That is why I called it the final solution.

so then you would not be opposed to letting FTP have 12 squad slots, i mean it would not be taking away anything from PTP. I mean p2p did not earn them outright by paying they earned the right to have them early. Just like Veterans did not earn the right to legacy squads by playing the game early when it had far less content. I mean letting everyone have the same things is not taking it away from those that have it and letting those who do not have it a path to gaining it is right of course.

Same bro I was so spooked :sob:

The name of the theme is cool, of course, but I remember something…
I’m all for this idea. I really want to assemble a large set of detachments, for example, 9 detachments of machine gunners!

Legacy Squads should never return in any capacity. It’s not fair to the players who earned them pre-merge, or the players that sold them for silver. The solution is to add non-unique event squads that behave similarly to TT squads (swappable weapons, normal squad size, soldier options). Doing so keeps everyone happy. These wouldn’t replace all future event squads, but would be a good occasional supplement.

It doesn’t matter to players who kept them pre merge, like myself. The more ppl get nice things, the better.

Those really just don’t matter. They made a poor decision, they can either make the same mistake twice or correct it

but what if they didnt read forum or just came back to the game tho? they didnt know that it important (or didnt read the warning i guess? idk)

IMOP it was kind of stupid for DF to make squads and then take them away because someone just happened to join Enlisted at a later date . Why take the time to actually make the squads if most people cannot get them? If I were a gambling man, my bet DF will offer them up some day, but is going to ask a premium price for them.

Naming an otherwise unrelated videogame suggestion after a reference to the genocide of undesirable peoples is in very very poor taste. If you are blind to that then idk what else to say.
