Itâs obvious that the developers didnât want to hard stop people from systematic leaving yet, but just to punish them so that systematic desertion would not be so convenient for them.

This is my response to a similar suggestion and I stand by the idea that deserters should receive less priority in matchmaking ques or like GTA be put into âbad sport lobbiesâ with other players whoâve been reported for unsportsmanlike behaviour and fellow deserters.
and you know why?,BECAUSE MANY MAPS SUCK,just look the post about maps they did and you can see the every fucking problem we have in the game for get it, also some game modes are a true bullshit and if you mix a bad map with also a bad mode, we have a disaster, me I donât quit unless I get connection issues, but I CAN TELL YOU ONE THING, itâs not players fault, but company fault, and the last map they did itâs a good example of WHAT THEY SHOULDNâT MAKE, itâs just like a Rhzev 2.0 (copy paste stuff and remade some models)
Since they are going about it. Why not go all the way. Actual map filters and stricter desertion penalties. -50 exp and no silver gained for constant desertions would sound about right. Keyword: Constant Desertions.
And then for one of the leading causes of desertions, shitty maps and other instances. Map filters would solve that one. And like I said before, make that a premium feature.

They shouldâve added a 20% or 50% bonus for sticking through the match instead, or alongside the desertion penalties. That way, those of us who suffer are at least awarded.
Plus, we wouldnât be arguing over harsher desertion penalties which are - letâs face it, useless unless they literally IP ban you for leaving a single match. Not going to happen, as that will kill the game faster than an EMP being let off.
I donât desert intentionally a lot, but when I do I donât care, penalty or not, it doesnât effect me either way and I donât lose any sleep over it. Maybe they should concentrate on the reasons rather then the penalties if they actually want results.
I have noticed that after the implementation of the punishment for deserters, there will be more campers in disadvantaged teams. Some former deserters choose to camp, while others choose to leave, without any change, and even worse. You should know that replacing these campers with AI is actually better.
For players who want to win, the burden is even heavier.Because AI can attack strategic points and help you share the enemyâs firepower, these campers are useless!
There is no problem requesting more rewards for players who persist in trying to win.
I have to rest today. Itâs not a pleasant experience to launch an attack with only one or two teammates and be submerged by the enemy.
If a suspension or ban was imposed, then some people would just go camp out till the game ended in protest, so, the people doing the seal clubbing would have less people or bots to play against as some would just ride the game out in hiding. That is what I would do instead of deserting, but Iâm a rebel.
Yes, you can choose camping and cause me to lose the game, but if I can earn rewards similar to the winning team through hard work, then I wonât mind so much.
All I want is some encouragement, but now it seems that players who strive to win are just suffering.
Which faction? I played USA BR III today and I was the only one building rallies. I got an end score of 4200 points with 29 rally uses and 66 kills. I even got 4.8 zone captured.
Sadly I was the top of the team in all regards. 2nd place was less than 2500 points.
(12000 points is crazy - the highest I ever got was 6500).
