Was ready to ORDER then saw it was for USSR not ALLIES. Will not be purchasing as I have USSR fully kitted out and my Allies squads are weak. Weird decision imho.

This squad was 50% of about 1 year ago (when I bought it). It was probably on sale before that too.
Squads that were removed from sale since the merge were offered sporadically and never at a discount.

I’m all up for normal Lewis going to normal British faction but Darkflow seem to wholeheartedly hate WW2 and prefer Tiger 2 with Volkssturm partisans in Stalingrad instead.

Squad is crap anyway. It’s slow and the aim sight is blocking a lot of vision. Shooting from a standing position is impossible because the gun recoils hard and you first have to find a suitable position to lie down.

No. Intentionally adding Volkssturm units with fur hats and VS armbands to Tunisia, intentionally adding Stalingrad and Rzhev 1942-43 to high tier battles with Tiger 2 and AS-44 (which was never used in WW2), adding Ho-Ri which never existed at all, keeping yellow Italian tanquettes fighting against American water planes at the Battle of the Bulge and allowing Bedouin bathrobe wearing boys to storm Omaha beach is basically hating WW2.

I still feel that most of these problems came from merging all the stuff and not adding a time/zone restriction in the process, nor creating a separate historically more accurate section where things are expected to be right, e.g. you can bring 1 ultra rare weapon with all your squads but not 3 per squad and such. And where vehicles and squads occur only in battles where they could in reality.

However, the fact of the matter is that since the Merge happened over a year ago literally ZERO effort has been done to improve thr WW2 immersion aspect of the game or fix any of thise glaring issues.
Actually, on the contrary, Darkflow are intentionally adding Rzhev with all BRs allowed, intentionally add fake tank Hori, intentionally add Volkssturm armbands to Moscow – and there’s literally ZERO reason why people who “care about WW2” would do that.
