Take br4 out of the position it’s in

Change the queues of the BR’s to same one we have now between 1 and 3 but

  • br4 by itself

  • and then 5 by itself

I think BR 3-4 could work also. But I agree that BR5 needs to be standalone. There are so many cool thing that I cant use because I don’t want to get uptiered

Would be an idea but then br3 things such as tanks would be deemed useless as they’d be more oftenly uptiered because of how many more people would run br4 if it isn’t matched with br5 anymore.

That is a fair point, but they could improve that uptier tank feature they added a while back to help combat this

From my experience, it just has the T-50 for soviets and Crusader for americans, idk the others. To be fair, it might have other tanks, but I only play BR3. Even in BR-3 the T-50 is already underpowered compared to the other tanks.
It could be something like

BR3 - T34. BR4 - T34/85. BR5 T34/85 or IS1

This way you wont get farmed by the enemy tanks. Infantry gear isn’t a very big deal as br3 to br4 is not a very big power difference.

You also have the kv1 at your disposal for br3 soviets

Both good tanks even for br5 but there’s better ones like the t-34-100 or the is2 1944 to counter the tiger 2’s

just limit how many br4 guys can appear in br3 vs br4 matches and as br4 weapons are less oppressive as br4 vehicles maybe it’s time to have WT like 0.3 rank tiers instead of just solid 1.0, make jumbo, panther, tiger 1 and is-1 be 4.7 so they will be matched vs BR5 more often than not but weapon should be have 4.0 br with few exceptions

IS1 and T-34-85 can’t really destroy King Tiger you need IS-2 at least, there should be su-100 but they hide it behind a paywall :skull:

Ideally all BR levels should be stand alone, however this will most likely never happen. It took people continuously bitching a couple years for DF to get rid of the soft rule between the Allies and Japanese, so I seriously doubt they will ever go 0/0 match making. However BR4 has become the most useless level in the game, and really either needs it’s own solo level or just be absorbed into BR3 and let BR5 go it alone.

Yeah let’s not over complicate it with decimals on each BR…

That’ll be an issue as some squads like trios and 4 stacks would want to play br4 but not face br5. So this is one of the reasons why I always propose br4 needs to be standalone as well as br5

Technically they can, it’s just that since almost every tank battle is long-range sniping, you’ll rarely get any kills. Best I’ve done with an IS-1 was killing a Tiger H that thought I was disabled after they took out my loader, and then wiping out a Panther. But typically, T34-85 and IS-1 struggle against even Panthers and desert against king tigers.
Maybe if players were given APCR rounds or something when they were being uptiered, they could be somewhat useful against enemy tanks.

Trying to destroy Panther and Jumbo when you are BR3 is very painful.

Exactly, that’s why I don’t entirely agree on a 3-4 queue. That’s why 4 needs to be by itself

I actually made a post about that, where I suggested the BRs stop at BR IV, where BR III and BR IV are merged into BR III and BR V is then BR IV.
