Take br4 out of the position it’s in

Thank you for your post, I agree.

I think most people support BR V being separated from the other BRs.

Id like BR III to be its own thing.

I commend those other members who have rightly pointed out that the main issue with BRs is tanks (and aircraft).

For instance why use a BR III Sherman when one can use an M10? Also correct me if Im wrong but isnt the German Panther at BR IV? Sod facing that with my BR III Allied tanks.

BR IV is such a weird BR. Some of the weapons that used to be BR IV have now been downtiered to BR III where they belong, such as the M1941 Johnson rifle or Type Otsu rifle.

This means that the only BR IV Allied weapon (iirc) is the M1941 Johnson LMG, which is really not that good. It has strange sights and only 20 rounds (the BR II German MG 13 has 25 for example).

Then there’s cases like the German Kiraly, its better than BR III weapons but at BR V completely pointless when one can use STGs or similar.

I believe that BR V should be separated for all the postwar and prototype nonsense stuff, the Fortnite COD wannabe assault rifle spam and jet fighters.

BR III remain as is.

But BR IV? I dont really know what to do with it and I dont think the devs know either. Perhaps the best option would be to make BR IV the new ‘high tier’ for WWII but to do so DF would need to fill it up better because right now I believe most factions dont have much BR infantry tech anyway.

Maybe some repeated BR V tech could be moved down to ‘fill out the ranks’ so to speak and then separate BR IV from BR III to avoid bolt action VS assault rifle crap.

I really wish the devs hadnt went to BR IV/V with Enlisted. They really didnt need to.
Japan is all prototypes, and even a ‘major’ faction like the Western Allies again its largely prototypes.

The M2 Carbine was used a little bit in the very late stages of the Pacific War but ultimately its a Korean War weapon.
The T20 isnt even a proper prototype, its a draft of a draft. The Hyde is just silly.

The M1919A6 wasnt liked and given the slow ROF I would move it down to BR IV and maybe give it less ammo if its such a concern (apparently belts could be adjusted so it doesnt have to have 100 rounds)

Because m10 is literally worse than sherman in every way except penetration. Sherman is just more versatile

Well then, all the more reason to question the point of BR IV if much of the tech should be downtiered/uptiered anyway.

but isnt m10 already br 3?

Why do you think so?

It is not.

But you should tell this to players who are lobbying for strict 1:1 balance.

Okay it must have been downtiered. It was definitely BR IV a while ago.

@Adamnpee Because I read up on it. There were multiple ‘drafts’ if you like between a basic M1 Garand the eventual M14.
Within the ‘T20’ designation there was the T20, T20E1, T20E2, T20E2HB, then a similar list for T22. T25, T26, T27, T31 there’s a big long list on Wikipedia.

I will reiterate that I actually like the gun itself. But it shouldnt be in Enlisted, certainly not when it drags us into this whole nonsense BR of ‘1 drawing made’ prototypes.

I hear you about the Hyde and ‘balance’ but thats part of the problem. They add these fairytale weapons then have to add more OP wacky stuff to be Thanos.

If you guys like such and such a prototype, thats fine. And I understand them for event/premiums.

But we cannot deny that the high rank prototype debacle has caused so many problems for this game.

We couldve had a very good WWII FPS. Now its been ruined and turned into Fortnite - Vintage edition.

Please dont tell me or others to ‘just play another game’ because there arent other WWII FPS’ like Enlisted.
Hell Let Loose is a good game but its a completely different playstyle thats not for everyone.

How exactly?

Historical prototypes are as cool as mass-produced equipment/vehicles.

And sometimes even cooler, as they are quite often unique ideas that offer original playstyle or look. But still retaining the WW2 theme/feel.

The T20 and Hyde were actually made, up to 25 of each if I recall, but the fact still remains that they never saw combat. Point is they were produced in a number.

Darkflow could’ve gone full fantasy and given us a bucket load of experimental stuff that didn’t even make it past blueprints because it was that dumb.
