Tactical " Door System " & new physic for doors From Active Matter

so, since the NDA whole ordeal for closed beta test was lifted, i would like to start a brief serie of features that we could borrow from Active Matter, for enlisted.

Active matter for those who don’t know, it’s an extraction shooter with tactical features developed with the same enlisted engine. it is currently heavily based on enlisted. that apparently it’s getting more support than enlisted. often receiving more updates in short period of time compared to enlisted, but i digress

first one, to remind, was the ability to check magazines:

as, right now, the games are very alike with other differences. but still feels kinda the same game.
except, it’s a bit more realistic.

which, i’d argue such realistic feature would immensely benefit mods and the base game in some instances.
such as this one i’m about to highlight.

and those are;

New Physic for doors

so, a bit hard to explain, but it will be better covered in the next point for visuals. currently, in enlisted, doors have only two states.

completely open, and completely shutted.
which doors are not dynamic and does not follow player movemet.

for example, if you want to close doors with your body, you cannot do that. but you can open them by running towards said doors. which seem half way from being perfect, such as active matter.
and the next feature:

bring the tactical door system from Active Matter, to Enlisted

so, what i mean by " tactical door system " in short, the ability to open door just enough to leave a small angle open, slowly open doors to decrease noises of the door, and all that jazz that it can be very useful in many situations.

sure, enlisted is a gun run type of game. but mods shouldn’t be neglected because of the base game.
but, even then, i’d argue in the base game such feature can be very useful in flanking maneuvers, pop a grenade in relatively safety, and above all, it’s just a realistic which it’s always a plus to have. don’t like? then don’t use it.

like, why wouldn’t you do it if you could ?.

how would it work ?

well, it’s relatively simple.
by holding the command button for opening doors, you can slowly open said doors in a more tactical manner for a small advantage of taking the enemy by surprise or throw a grenade inside.

and if those are not fully closed, you can slighlty move them with just your body, opposed as having to press buttons.

kinda like with windows currently.

and if necessary, you can just close doors either more slowly, or by running to them.

Visual presentation:

since my it’s not my footage, and did not had much control, i kinda fused both part of the suggestion into one. but it should be relatively easy to understand. and even more easier to import given that they are the same engine and practically feels the same.

with that being said,

and free our man already.
