Why is the SVT-40 in BR 4? When using it and SVT-38 I notice like no difference. I just like the SVT-40 as it looks much better than the SVT-38. Darkflow please move SVT-40 to BR 3.
You have it wrong the 40 should not be moved down the 38 should be moved up

the 38 is literally just an 40 on BR III, and way cheaper, stick to the 38 dude, cosmetics doesnt really matter in the long run
It’s a post merge remnant with messy weapon placement they had nothing to fill BR4 so they left it there to die.

most br3 and br4 rifles are pretty similar, except the high capacity premiums or bp guns like the mondragon
the only br4 worthy guns are the AKT-40 or hi-cap stuff like the farquhar hill, lol

One of the historical legacy issues of the merged campaign. This technology tree actually has no scientific basis. It stays in BR4 just to fill a vacancy. Fortunately, no one cares about BR4, so we can just ignore it.

Or maybe we should give Japan and Germany a better semi-automatic? A 10-round box magazine.
They could still put it in tier 4 of the tech tree while making the gun BR3. If I am correct they did something like that with the MP40
SVT 38 is already better than M1 Garand and G41, that’s why the jump to BR4 is not very noticable.

They could probably give the SVT-38 a longer stripper clip reload animation, and let the SVT-40 keep the faster magazine change reload animation. (Like how G41 in game has stripper clip reload, but G43 has magazine change reload)

I was thinking something similar, they could add a version of the svt40 (and maybe 38) called like “SVT-40(clip)” the svt40 version would exist mainly for those who care about the looks of theit gear. They could do something similar to the g43
well would effectively make the M1 Garand the best semi at BR3, which I think fits the setting - while also justifying all lower BR semis to get a damage buff, so that they kill in one shot reliably.

Maybe i should do the same about few other guns and also lack of fast firing ger smg at br2 (unless you pay).
Why are axis G43 and Czech crooked semis br4 and not 3?

America and the Soviet Union don’t have a big problem with German tanks in br1 to br4, but KT is very OP, this problem needs to be solved someday.
I believe that g43 should be moved to br3 with nerfs to reload speed and damage (base damage should be 12 and reload speed 2.6) but ZH will remain in place.

Ah, so should svt38 receive a lowered reload speed nerf along with lower base damage as well? Along svt40?

Check the stats, I suggested moving the G43 to the BR3, but as you know, the G43 is stronger than the SVT 38, so we need to nerf it, my suggestion was to equalize both the damage and reload speed, the base damage of the SVT38 is 12 and the base damage of the G43 is 12.7.
