Survey: Do you think the current in game economic policies are bad?

Strongly recommend improving the economy before putting on Steam.
Based on personal feelings, the overall players’ income after Merge has decreased, which makes me very dissatisfied. Before the Merge, I was able to save a thousand bronze orders and hundreds of silver orders, but now I only have 100k silvers. Once, we didn’t need to purchase vehicles or weapons to unlock future research.
Only one better point is that research has become easier.
Especially weapon/vehicle upgrades and personnel purchases are actually much more expensive. (Previously, purchased weapons/soldiers even had random stars, and if you were lucky, you could save a lot of orders. )

If you also think so, please like it;
If you want to refute that, please comment below.
Thanks a lot

P.S. Only 1185 silvers for 160 kills, really “A LOT”, right? :smiling_face_with_tear:

My only real issue is being forced to purchase things I don’t want, just to move on in the research tree.

I 100% accept having to research through it, but if I don’t want it - I shouldn’t have to buy it too.

It’s just awful atm, your Silver gain lags extremely behind the xp. You can research all unlocks in nation trees no problem (with premium) but still won’t have enough silver to max everything up. Silver gain should be increased by at least +250% to match the XP gain. Even with premium you barely get enough Silver to buy a single BR3-5 gun, last update made me go bankrupt and i still don’t have enough silver to upgrade all Hei Automatics x20 and i can forget about buying and upgrading new planes since it would take 100k+ silver on top of 100k+ silver of those 20 guns.

Instead for example 1835 silver per game i should get 4587 silver (+2.5x Silver) for the same game. It would still not be enough to upgrade a gun fully to the max but close. It would also make non premium newbies less miserable after they start grinding BR3. I would quit without premium since not only it takes a lot of xp but silver you need to spent on guns/vehicles is just insane when compared to BR1-2 unlocks.

Even with 4.5k silver per match i would still need to play over 44 games to grind 200k silver needed to unlock and upgrade all new japanese toys. So it’s not like they would force me not to play the game.

Personally i have not noticed a problem with silver earning. I do not have a premium account but i did buy the battle pass which gives a decent amount of silver in rewards. I’m just reaching BR4 and have noticed a massive increase in silver cost for upgrades and such but honestly that’s to be expected of the last tiers of any f2p game. I also predominantly play 1 faction so don’t have to spend my silver on other factions but before the merge i found it much worse, especially if you played multiple campaigns.

Overall i think the progression is much better than before since they removed a lot of the RNG and improved balance since its easier to change 1000s of silver cost then it is 1 silver card. Before the merge i found it difficult to even fill out my squads below BR3 with soldiers and weapons since you had to play a lot to get a enough silver cards. But now i can choose to use other consumables such as weapon upgrade orders or reduce the cost by upgrading weapons in the squads upgrades.

I have not had an issue buying every new weapon and squad i’ve unlocked though i don’t tend to fill out my squads with the new weapons or high tiered soldiers. But again i think as a F2p game it is common that the end game is a long grind.

I think the current issue is Matchmaking, since it put players who have just started the long grinds (BR3) against players who completed it and have the best equipment and soldiers in the game.

I think it’s likely that you lack experience before the Merge. I had already reached BR5 before Merge, and I didn’t even have a premium account, but I could easily equip each soldier with full star equipment.
At that time, bronze orders were easy to obtain for upgrading weapons. Now, each battle can only earn 1000-2000 silver coins, and upgrading requires more than 10000 silvers.

The amount of silver you receive is too little. Some games, I’ve had the highest score on my team and only been given 400 silver for a defeat. If the developers use silver economy to slow progression; I would prefer more research points needed for the tech tree and more silver payed after games.

And don’t forget about need of purchasing them too, especially vehicles they are like 15000 each… They made vehicles significantly more expensive while weapons are only somewhat cheaper but still not enough.

They really made new economy around how to squeeze more money out of us. So shameless. Also remember in old economy you could get a weapon of random star upgrade and even earlier you could spend bronze/silver to get random weapon/nade. Nowadays i feel like a beggar that need to collect the scraps and beg for a few coins.

I mean personally yes especially the soldier price since it got inflated to unreasonable amount sure before it only 1 silver which is like 1k now but currently? It like 3k for tier 1 like that 3x the amount it ridiculous (and not to mention tier 2 and 3 cost oof)

I played more before the merge than after. I started playing on release and came back to play for a season 1-2 a year. So do not play this game all the time and it has been awhile since i played premerge but i remember feeling like i was being held back by the card system.

Though recently i have given up playing games i’d considered lost in the first few mins so have a pretty good win rate which might affect my opinion of silver earning and progression. But once you are experienced at the game it’s usually easy to tell if you are gonna get slaughtered in the first few mins if your team doesn’t build rallies, doesn’t mark targets and constantly run to their deaths.

I feel like i have progressed more in this one season then i ever did before the merge and like i said i’ve rarely felt held back but i don’t buy and upgrade everything i unlock, only those that i enjoy or like. Plus i have not really played other factions this time around. Personally i think it was a move in the right direction but they still have a way to go. I personally think it’s mostly a matchmaking issue.

I haven’t bought a single troop since the merge since they are that expensive.

Yea same I’m buying with gold order instead since it price stay the same

And I would probably buy them after I max everything out (if I can do that before they add tons of new weapon that is)

You can earn 3k silver in like 2-3 games if you do decent. I don’t remember how long it took to get a silver card before but it was more than 3 games. I prefer a unified currency you can save and choose what to spend on instead of the 3 tiered card system before. It seemed almost like a gacha game and encouraged gambling to get improved equipment. Now it’s all very straightforward and easy save and aim for specific things.

I mean they technically nerf the amount of silver daily and event give imo. Since before you can get I believe 2 silver order (weapon or troop) and other stuff now? 500 - 2000 it really feels like it got nerf (I will go check pre merge event to confirm later)

Yeah, Ive been playing since 2020. And Im am struggling to upgrade my current weapons and vehicles. I even sold the legacy squads (which did help…but not enough).

Yes.

I gain roughly 3k per game. That’s a brand new weapon every game. You can’t expect to buy everything and outfit all your squads after playing just a couple of games.

50 Dollars for one single premium unit is pretty much criminally expensive.

Silver gain is so slow, that a mediocre player needs to play multiple matches to buy just one gun - which he will replace once he unlocks a better one.

Silver gain needs to be doubled - at least.

I hate the price of vehicles now
Because I have to develop and buy gear at the same time
The price of the vehicle will affect the speed of my line opening

I think they have multiple problems:

1.) Silver gain is anemic in my view
2.) Rp gain is pretty OK
3.) But if you have already researched everything, then you can easily rack up millions of exp and unlock everything at the launch. Which is not a problem per se, but well… just means that there will soon be players with trillion exp since the new content speed is so low. To do anything about this would break the grind for all new players.

So maybe following changes:
1.) Dont make people buy things on the research line, let this be player choice (benefits noobs)
2.) Allow people to trade rp for silver. Can even be at a terrible exchange rate like 10%. (Benefits older players)
