Survey: Do you think the current in game economic policies are bad?

I agree with you, without a single point of rebuttal, and annoyingly so.

Yes, if we really want variety in the equipment seen in-game, the silver earnings should FAR outstrip the research progress (perhaps a literal inversion of the current 10:1 XP/Silver ratio), so that players have the resources to progressively outfit whole squad lineups with better gear as they go.

You’d see a slower progression overall and a lot more variety, as opposed to what we see now: folks playing fully-decked BRII armies right up until they can field a fully-decked BRV one.

I think that would just break the grind for 97% of playerbase. Who here would recommend the game to someone if the exp unlock grind was 10x worse  dont think i hate anyone that much.

The only ones who could deal with it are the ones who have everything researched already (and probably anyway are on the top end of rp income as is) and only need research the trickle of new releases.

Economy is fine - DF

If i didnt have 2mil plus from the silver order hoarding plus a massive stockpile of fully upgraded stalingrad & pacific weapons, i would be poor too.

i had about 1.6 mil and spent it all on upgrading and buying new stuff (and also upgrading them)

I am a hoarder so i simply am not accepting to have less than 1.5mil in the bank. :upside_down_face:

But selling couple of hundred troops from the reserve means i have probably spent something like you as well.

Economy seems fine to me. You need 4x-5x less equipment and weapons to field your squads then before therefore the silver earned was reduced. By being forced to buy everything you will be able to field squads at all BRs. Some players want max level soldiers right away and see that big 11.5k cost, but need to understand that that is only expected once everything else has been unlocked and upgraded to max. The soldier RNG is solely there to spend silver, so ignore it until you have everything. EVERYTHING. The devs have also stated that battle hero medals will give rewards in the future which will be another bonus to the players as well as promote the use of other less used squads like the mortars.

It ain’t as bad as WT’s. That’s my stance. Better be thankful you don’t have to pay to repair vehicles/recoup squads

I am so darn thankful I’m the antithesis to you. Pre Merge the Normandy Allies campaign was maxed out. I unlocked everything and began slowly working on upgrading old squads I left to rot when Merge happened. I still had some odd Springfield’s in several squads that I somewhat regularly used. Pretty much the only guns I had max leveled were a couple M1918A2’s, a couple M1919A6’s (almost all of which for both of these were with free Weapon Upgrade Orders that I still have a small stockpile of), a couple Winchester’s because shotgun go ch-ch and buckshot go BANG, a few Garand’s had a few levels in them I’m sure, I remember upgrading maybe 2-3 Springfield’s, some other odds and ends with some levels here and there. Vehicles I mainly used Upgrade Orders for as well

Right now? At this very moment? I have 2 squads I’m leveling, one is mostly equipped with a BR III Thompson, a Winchester, mostly Garand’s, and I think an M1 Carbine or two. The other? M1 Carbine’s and Springfield’s. None of these guns are leveled at all. Why is that? Ran out of my M1 Garand stockpile and didn’t feel like replenishing it. The M1 Carbine is the US gun I’m weakest with anyways and need to work on it. I’m getting better with it

So yeah my ES stocks are more or less fine. Not sure why all the rest of you constantly complain about not having any. I go so many matches without buying a dang thing. Honestly, I can’t understand why you feel the need to fully equip everyone with the new gun and fully level the guns up and fully level the planes up the second you get them. Just calm down and buy and upgrade as you go along. It won’t hurt you, I promise. Your BR IV stuff will do just fine. Shoot your BR III stuff can put in work with enough skill
Yeah no real need to try and get everything 100% immediately. Your squads will be fine with their current guns and you can just slowly move up bit by bit

I tried to recommend dozens of friends to this game and all of them got scaired by the economy system of the game. silver/cards are too hard to gain. Reward from battle pass is too little. premiums are way too expensive. solider stats are lootboxes and yea the progression system is way too hard and require too much grinding

Forcing to buy each equipment on research tree to get the last unlock is quite meh.
Not much of a problem for pre merge ppl since fair share of them is unlocked anyway but for new players it ruins economy rather easily.

Also upgrading weapons should be alot cheaper at lower levels.
Doesnt make any sense that fully upgrading mp40 costs just as much as mkb42 at br5.

Either lower the upgrade prices for low level equipment or reduce the amount of stars of low lvl equipment.
Aka make mp40 just 3 or 4 star max but keep the attributes same.

Silver gain generally could be increased.

Yep. The economy is hot garbage. On fantastic games with plenty kills, a win, 40 minutes spent, you get something like 4-5k silver. That’s disgraceful. Anyone who thinks it’s fine this way either doesn’t respect their time and/or has too much of it on their hands. I won’t settle for “Oh it could be worse” arguments. I want this dogshit to become better. The bar is not budging and if they think Steam won’t chew this game up and spit it back out they’re beyond delusional.

Steam is an oversaturated platform for FPS games. And Enlisted at its current state is not appealing at all. Terrible economy, bad matchmaking, bugs flying everywhere, even the major selling point “AI squads” is only half cooked. Not to mention the premium squad pricing. You can get Helldivers2 or Elden ring for the same price and get endless hours of fun. (instead of mentally agonizing grinding) If DF really is that lazy or greed to put the half baked game on steam I guess the reviews will speak for themselves. We just need to wait and see.

It could be worse doesn’t mean it’s right.

It seems that most people have the same opinion. It’s time to prepare for taking action on Steam reviews, if DF doesn’t plan to change it.

It’s so bad that you can’t put it into words, and it’s simply a dissuasion for newbies

Pre merge players and Vets are probably fine with lots of silver… New players will take a look and leave… it could be worse like WT but it could be a hell of a lot better and needs to change quick before the Steam release…

What do you mean? There was an exploit all of you were abusing with VPN’s. They fixed that exploit and fixed your soldiers to normal levels. It is the definition of alright. It’s better than it ever was. Now if only you people would stop using wall hacks and other cheats like that

WOW that’s some serious accusation. Just to be clear the thing I’m talking about is the in game silver economy. It could be worse like WT’s silver lion but it doesn’t make it justifiable.

Okay for this one I feel being racially attacked. What do you mean “all of you”, was it because of my Japanese user name? And also I never used or encourage other to abuse those loophole Dutch soldiers.

Because I never used those exploits my soldiers are fine. Your roast is completely off

I guess you can only keep throwing those racial accusations to make yourself feel better. Being Asian doesn’t make people hack and again hackers are generally losers we should stand against.

And for the “You people”

I’M BLOODY AUSTRALIAN. GO F YOURSELF MATE.
