Yes I would love French as a New Nation! French Army Pre-War-1940 Tech, then you got Free French with added lend-lease US Gear, the more Nations the merrier!

I too had the idea a while ago of including the Indochina campaign which for those that dont know DID occur in WWII it was fought between France/Vichy France (both were involved) and Thailand, which was sort of independent and sort of a puppet of Imperial Japan.
There have been various posts about a French tech tree which I encourage you to check out.
For instance you could start with my post France-Poland-Belgium-Netherlands tree.
Here is an earlier post about forgotten conflicts including the Franco-Thai War. Now at that time I suggested that France be a unique faction where players could be queued as Allies OR Axis.
I was talked out of that idea.
Perhaps now to balance teams there is more appetite for it.
I believe that with the combined tech of France, Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands, there would be more than enough tech for a proper faction and with little need for copy paste.
Certainly BR I-III would be very strong.
People complain about BR IV and V, but conveniently forget that even major tech trees like USA only have one BR IV rifle and LMG for instance.
I am sure that as I said between four nations there would be something to fill the gaps in BR IV/V.
Ideally the faction would only go to IV but if it has to go to V then we have Japan as precedent. Indeed while I myself hate prototypes interestingly most players seem fine with them.
The key point is that all these potential additions to the game including new and unique maps shouldnt be ignored purely because there might be one or two prototypes at BR V.
(again just look at existing factions, last I checked the T20 and Hyde were prototypes and I dont see anyone saying we should cancel the entire USA-UK faction because of that)
As for split queues well I like your idea of France balancing it out. Note that in the event of a France-Poland-BENE tree this new faction would be able to fight almost everywhere, including the Pacific as the Dutch.
Skeptics should note that as Allies FR-PO-BENE would be queued together with USA-UK basically everywhere like Battle for France had the British Expeditionary Force, same with Norway.
I believe the Free Polish fought in Greece so they can join the British (including Australia and New Zealand sub faction) there.
Dutch in the Pacific as I said.
Normandy obviously France but also Free Dutch.
The Free French and Free Polish were in the desert war (eg Free Polish relieved the ANZACs at Tobruk)
The Polish were in the battle of Italy including Monte Cassino.
There is literally no reason not to add this faction. It has been requested for years and many players want it. We even have existent French voicelines and some French weapons in game. Plus a French resistance premium.
Enlisted desperately needs variety including new maps. France-Poland-Belgium-Netherlands faction is a way to improve this. Remember also, this is only ONE new faction. ONE. JUST ONE. So stop complaining and start supporting!

You are clearly in the minority here and that is rather rude to a new member to the forum.
I will never understand the attitude of people like you that dont want any new additions to the game so it becomes stale, boring and loses more and more players.
I understand the argument for sub-factions but the Western Allies have enough tech as it is and we are missing so much UK stuff. It is silly trying to squash every Allied nation into the one tech tree.
I recognise the devs are against it but I will always be of the opinion that UK-Commonwealth and Italy + Other Axis Nations shouldve been separate trees.
It makes zero sense to me to straight up ignore an entire country, multiple if we also include Poland + Netherlands 's worth of tech and maps.

My problem is that it’s lazy, which I have been guilty of in the past and will be in the future. But it’s a handful of pictures which is under 30 minutes of work at best. I didn’t even knock them for being so original on suggesting France. Things he could have done to improve. Add individual pieces of equipment instead of a couple of bulk pictures of gear. Listed what br each fell under and how they could be used. So yes if my chastising of them was lazy it was only because of how lazy they were. The reason why a full tech tree faction is bad is it would be a separate q. That means splitting the player base even more. What would be ok is what we have now sub trees inside existing factions. Sorry but I don’t want to double or quadruple the factions do I have to wait half an hour to join a game.
There is no player who doesn’t want their national faction to appear in the game. The addition of a new faction can bring in more new players and is also beneficial to the future development of Enlisted. It’s just that the damn tech tree is making everything difficult now.

Very well. I hear you on having more detail but I know myself Ive spent AAGGESS on posts only to get like 5 likes or my original France-Poland-BENE post got completely ignored.
A kind member of a gaming discord group I was in even saw it and offered advice to get it more attention.
In that instance I used already existent tech trees (with credit to and permission from the creator) to show a possible tech tree, noting that my idea wasnt new in terms of adding France or Poland, but was unique in the concept of having France AND Poland AND Netherlands AND Belgium in the one tech tree together which i believe makes sense.
I agree that France, Poland, Belgium and Netherlands on their own would perhaps lack in tech at times certainly the latter two and BENELUX dont need their own separate faction.
Id also mention that Ive seen a lot of these posts and I get rather annoyed that so many people get bogged down in arguing over individual weapons battle ratings rather than the idea as a whole.
Most people use the BRs as a basic guide, and since its just a suggestion its not as if they are set in stone for implementation tomorrow.

Its ONE new faction in addition to the existing ones. Perhaps I confused you by mentioning four nations? Its four nations within one tech tree.
As for queues, I explained that. France And Others would queue together with USA-UK almost all of the time.
So I dont understand the problem?
There’s also the option raised by other members of having France as a way to balance the teams. So if theres less USA-UK players on Normandy, French players will join Allied side, or if theres less Axis theyll be Vichy. I think its a great idea and would make the faction very unique and interesting.
As I also said between France-Poland-Belgium and the Netherlands we cover most theatres of the war.
So again the faction could be used to fill up lacking servers. Eg if theres a lack of US players to go against BR I or BR II Japan, French (as Dutch) players could add to that to make full servers that are more balanced.

Agreed. And the haters forget that most people recognise their countries relative role.
For instance as an Australian Im completely fine with Australia as a sub-faction within UK+Commonwealth. That makes the most sense since we used basically all British weapons except our own Owen and Austen, CAC Boomerang, Wirraway etc.
Likewise our friends from Brazil or Puerto Rico, they are fine as event/premium squads for US (or just add the uniforms as a customisation option which is very easy to do).
Whereas nations like France and China I believe deserve their own factions due to the amount of unique weapons and the locations they fought.
China can be difficult since a lot of their tech was ‘copy paste’ so to speak but that also means in my opinion its a challenge to decide whether they should be placed under the USA or USSR as they used both tech (plus German and some British stuff).
But certainly France, together with Poland and the Netherlands imo should be in game and I believe Chinese squads should be at least somewhere in a tech tree.
There are the nationals of those countries who want to fight as their countrymen, but also people like myself, I have no specific connection to France I just think their uniforms are cool, weapons are unique and I desperately want a change from the same old same old USA storming the beaches on D Day.
Its about variety and interest. We remember how cool it was when we got a whole new campaign, as you say, anyone regardless of their nationality will be intrigued and keen to try new factions, especially ones like France, Poland and China which arent featured in games normally.

Thank you for the tips! I will improve and add more specific ideas. If my request for a nation is so messy, it’s because originally, with a friend, we decided to make a request for laughter (we did not expect that we could reach people with this request). But I realize that there is a real demand from the gaming community to integrate the country into the game, so I’m going to modify the request to be cleaner.

Almost all suggestions so far regarding France etc. was to make them standalone factions which is still a terrible idea.
