I still don’t think this is the best way to go about it though, I think there are more mechanic based systems that could be tried that could balance what we have rather than further dividing the population on the standard matchmaking system. As I suggested prior, it should be a limited number of tanks by classification, and there should be some form of easy access for AT squads to learn the layout of enemy tanks. Plus I fear this “fix” would remove a lot of the bolt-actions from being seen in game as most high levels prefer automatic weapons since they are easier to win with. As someone with a T-28E which one shots Pz. II Cs, I wouldn’t mind having limited uses if it allowed me to switch which tank I would use next based in that squad. This, of course, would require them to add more tanks for the Tanker II and Tanker III for Moscow.
I don’t play Berlin that much as I main the Soviets on Moscow, but on Moscow, most people deal with the T-28E by building AT guns, which if hid well, are incredibly hard to destroy at times. Training on AT squads would work well too, and would probably encourage their usage more on the battlefield.
yes, but actually no. its a totally diferent campaign regarding game pace i m afraid for them to even be an option against lack of avaiability to spawn my tank again.
How about this:
We limit the tanks but at the same time we limit TNTs.
Thanks to this, tanks (especially heavy ones) will become more rare but also will be more powerfull than now.
I won’t lie, I’d like to see “oh shiet it’s a tank HIDE!!!” effect in the game. Now it’s just “where is my TNT?”.
As I said, I’m focusing on finishing my one campaign unless there’s an event going on like the Steel Fortress event. Are you sure you can’t think of any other counter measure for an enemy tank aside from an equally powerful tank?
Ok, lets say one team has only 1 panther spwan and the other team has 1 Jumbo spawn. Lets say the panther players isnt very good and dies quickly. So only Pumas and Pz IVs for this team from now own. The Jumbo simply will stay alive and destroy everything in the whole game. And no if the Jumbo driver is even competent you could never shoot the machinegun port with your PzIV
Maybe the system should be dependent on campaign? Obviously Normandy I’ve heard is a big issue with late-tier tanks, but some of the maps in Berlin are hard to traverse.
Still basic MM is need, at least for new players. Like if i joined a game and in my first match i come across to players like @Shiivex ( <3 ) i would instantly hate the game
Well, I think as the game’s gotten older, most people strayed away from bolt-actions. I think that’s somewhat of a problem and some sort of system should be put in place to avoid scaring away new players who most definitely have little chance against endgame players.
