Most of the Japanese smgs need to have their br increased now, so that’s probably going to make low tier Japan quite barren so I think we’re going to need any smgs we can take to fill br1 and br2.
It is not.
When you ignore all those obviously overperforming SMGs (with exception to type 100 late and pps42/43, all of them are recent addition to BR2). It’s nowhere near comparable to what BR2 SMGs used to be like.
There’s literally no reason to use for example M3A1 grease gun now.
Which was back then pretty fun and solid weapon. Very satisfying weapon to use.
M1A1 is literally of the same concept (high dmg, low velocity), but with extreme rof for its BR.
They totally killed everything about what BR2 used to be. Now it’s just sweatfest with overperforming smgs.
We can give it same damage as PPS-43 and it can be nice BR II smg we dont need to pile BR III with too many SMGs. Or 6.8 if if you wanna make it more unique.
Well, I’ve made my point. As I said, I agree that it has no place in the Enlisted maps in BR2. But we shouldn’t assume M1A1 a very powerful weapon.
Not according to these documents.
The pps 43 has always been cracked for br2 and people have wanted it to be br3 for a while, the only way I could see smgs like the type 2a and type 100 early being br2 is if they had ppsh41 obrez levels of damage
It is extremely powerful weapon in BR2. But in BR3, it’s pretty average (as there are better BR3 Thompsons).
I’m pretty sure he’s mixed up the type 100 mg with a Japanese copy of the mg 15
Well, that’s all I meant.
Well type 100 early has 5 rounds less then PPS 43 and 1 round less Owen MK 1 and they will do same amount of damage so yeah i think they are balanced that way since the only reason people don’t use the Owen is do to the tommy.
Wikipedia is not a reliable source
Arguably it is, as it’s a collection of lots of different resources which have been cross checked with other sources. Also that’s not what I was arguing, I was arguing that he’d accidentally attributed the Japanese mg15 copy’s rpm to the type 100mg
Balanced with each other yes, but the pps43 should not be the baseline smg to compare things to as the pps43 arguably belongs in br3
I really doubt they will move it to br III maybe the Uragan but if they move the PPS 43 they better move the Owen also to BR III and then we have a lot of crazy premiums that also need to be rebalanced. Like my Chinese squads but I prefer if they stay BR II.
I know it is quite a big reshuffle but just because it’s a lot of effort doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done.
yes all 30 round thompsons have br3 stats including the ones at br4 stop ignoring that fact
Well yes it will take time thats why I dont know why people are complaining so much its a very complicated thing to rework the SMG balance did they absolutely mismanage it yes but is it fun while we wait well yes
And this was the best things the devs did becouse when we tried to talk about axis allies weapons balance they always ignored it so i think was very positive change to the game since will lead finally to some early brs balance.
Either 30 round Thompson’s belong at br2 and 3 and 4 or they should all go to br3
Br2 base 600 rpm
Br3 base 700 rpm
Br4 base 700 or 800 rpm
If 700 and 800 rpm is good enough for br4
Base 600 is bad enough for br2
Either 30 round thonpsons br 2 3 4 is balanced
Or they should all go to br3, saying 30 round Thompson’s at br2 should be moved to br3
While 30 round Thompson’s should stay at br4 id hypocrisy
Well yes it will take time thats why I dont know why people are complaining so much its a very complicated thing to rework the SMG balance did they absolutely mismanage it yes but is it fun while we wait well yes
It’s certainly not complicated.
But you have to be competent at the game.
And not rely on some pseudo data like “what percentage of people use what weapon, what weapon people score the most kills with per game” and other similar stats that are calculated based on an average. Stats which are completely meaningless. Because the majority of the Enlisted’s playerbase are casual players who have no idea what they’re doing.
Or the BR2 weapon is like in T4, so that’s why it’s not used that often.
It’s pretty obvious that they are balancing the game based on nonsensical datasets like this. And not the actual performance of the weapons themselves.
They simply don’t understand their own game at all. (With exception of few helpers such as Euthymia).
They simply don’t understand their own game at all.
Well the plane event is typical example of that
Instead of giving us Spitfire F Mk IX for BR III with bombs or Spitfire LF Mk IX for BR V or IV they given us Spitfire LF Mk IX with no bombs on BR II where is the logic in this… next stop is Griffon-powered variants of the spitfire on BR II without bombs…
