As topic. No more br3 american matching with br5 jap. Yes I know the devs bring up br4 tryout tanks but its not helpful at all. The japanese imaginary guns are just too powerful for br3 american.
I’ve said it many times over, but…
BRI-II
BRIII-IV
BRV
or, which could be more popular…
BRI-II
BRIII
BRIV-V
Just my tuppence though.
That’s what’s preventing me from trying out all the other BRs in-game. It seems like it is either BR II or BR V if you want to have a nice and comfortable game.
No. It’s more fun this way
said no one ever?
You are the vocal minority with no skill. BR III can deal with V with little to no issue. With some skill, BR II can even compete
You literally just need to get good. BAR’s, DP’s, MG 34’s, M1A1 Thompson, .30 cal Thompson, box PPSh, whatever Germany gets after the MP 40 I think it’s another Italian thing. These are some of the best guns in the game. Bar none. If you can’t deal with V’s with these guns, then that’s 100% a you problem. I’m over here enjoying the most Enlisted that Enlisted has to offer with BR III
I can only imagine how dumb the br5 guy is if he can’t even win anyone on br3
Current matchmaking is good. I like being rewarded for playing br3 and 4 with the occasional down tier game.
In time, we hope may be changes to this.
I too share the opinion that BRs should be narrower, even if a number can use BR III against BR V with few issues. The reasons why they aren’t as many may desire should be somewhat obvious, but there’s a bigger chance of things changing in future due to the growth of the game recently. We will see!
I fell in love with Enlisted because of the chaos and lack of consistent “meta.” Every single match was an entirely unique mix of players (and some bots depending on the campaign) that all had wildly different load outs based on their progression and weapon preferences. Puma’s, Stuart’s, M1903’s, Kar98k’s, Tiger’s, Jumbo’s, M1919A6’s, MG 42’s, FG 42’s, M2’s. All of these and more were all randomly thrown into one big match where you never knew what you were going to face and with what frequency. It truly was a unique experience coming from a game like CoD where everyone runs an MP5 with the same exact attachments because that’s “meta”
I still firmly believe that Battle Ratings are not a good fit for Enlisted. It isn’t built like War Thunder. It’s not the best option. I definitely would’ve gone with the Preferred Map option. Least then we wouldn’t have Volksturm weapons in Tunisia
But, this is what we’re stuck with now. However, I can live with I-III and III-V. Even with the soft rule, it’s still fine. I can play BR III and can get a random chance to fight either a mix of I-III or a mix of III-V and have no idea what the percentage of each BR is making up each team. It’s still good. It’s still chaotic and has some variety to every single match
If you want consistent ±1 or whatever, then play BR II or BR IV/V. There’s exactly what you want. Leave III alone. Let me enjoy ENLISTED because War Thunder: Infantry Edition does not appeal to me
This reminds me of what my old mum would say whenever I asked for something…
Even that gets way too frequently uptiered against BR3 KV’s & shermans.
Hes console warrior with aim assist and probably 99% of time fighting bots.
So pardon hes ignorance.
After watching a guy bring 5 squads with just t20 rifles Idk man playing against guys with instant kill auto rifles with little to no recoil while you are using semi auto rifles is a joke.
Personally I believe rank 5 should be by themselves as americans get the the disgusting t20 rifle germans get the disgusting fg 42, japenese get the type hei which is a pain in the neck to counter, and the russians the avt 40.
You SHOULD NOT be fighting against those with the Garand or gewehr.
I tried br 5 with germany and oh man its straight up seal clubbing my first match I immediately had 160 kills no problem just spraying with my fg42 and stg 44’s “Br III can deal with V with little to no issue” Is such a joke.
Learn to use automatic weapons and utilize terrain
Use the BAR, SMG’s, or abuse range
BUT, I agree auto rifles need their recoil adjusted, and semi’s need their damage adjusted
It isn’t a joke. It’s a factual
If I, with a negative K/D on every tank and plane I’ve ever played in WT and a negative K/D in every CoD I’ve ever played, can run an entire BR III-V lobby as a full III player, then anyone can
I think the problem is you haven’t met a competent br 5 player as a competent br 5 player I double to triple the amount of kills on the enemy team almost every single match, this isn’t being cocky its just fact. Thankfully competent br 5 players are pretty rare thank god.
Good to hear, thank you for acknowledging the players concerns.
I agree with the latter option.
Id also suggest that wherever possible BR I and BR II games be limited to their own BRs as well. If there are not enough players for that in a queue, then queue them together.
Remember, thats an M50 Reising VS an MP40 (one of the best SMGs of WWII).
I am puzzled why people dont want to fix BRs. Unless of course they are a max BR V tryhard who can only pick on lower BRs otherwise they get smashed.
Thank you for mentioning this. I too have been facing this and its very annoying. Especially when as Ive said before, Japan used 1930s light tanks for basically the whole war (for a number of reasons). They did not have multiple medium/heavy tanks in battle lobbing shells from way over whoop whoop where no one can get them.
As Ive also said before, I understand Japan needing tanks to have some sort of balance with a Sherman for example. Thats okay. But above that NOPE. Should not happen.
Some people like to rant about Oh M1 Garand versus Type Hei is fine. In a 1 v 1 contest, yeah probably.
But in battle it is you with a squad of bolt action lee enfields (i.e engineers) VS an entire team of Japanese assault rifles and SMGs.
The other issue as Ive mentioned above is tanks. This applies to all factions. If we take away the high rank tanks, BR uptiers would be instantly less of a problem.
So my belief is that we lock BRs to that BR. BR III is 100% its own thing. BR I and II are ideally their own thing but can be queued together, likewise BR IV and V.
For Japan itself I believe Japan should not go to BR V. At the end of the war the technologically advanced nations were Germany (defeated), USA and USSR (hence the Cold War). NOT JAPAN.
Japan should be BR IV at most, and thats me being generous to all the made up weapons which should never have been in the game in the first place.
That’s it mate that’s how you solve that problem no big brain time.
But why make life easy when you can get a Chinese letter guy with all possible premium/pay squads that just hold left click on mouse and wins the game.
