I’d love in the future to have a statistical breakdown in game that shows win rate, kill/death, kills per weapon, etc… I’ve always been into stats and I’m sure that data is already tracked. One more thing, kills should be credited to the weapon that downs a player, not the one that finishes them off.
it’s kinda funny how people that down get the kill credit to their leaderbord stat, while the people that actually kill downed players dont get the credit, but their weapon does count as the weapon used to kill that enemy
i find funny people that want to know their KD in a semi-realistic game…
like, if this information will likely change their life…
i think you that people just have to get a task done. rather than thinking about how many kills someone have.
and should be worried about help the team.
i’d love in the future to get more xp by helping friends and healing them rather than be a psyco and brag about my kills as i really hope for the others to do the same.
i think that no one want to have their experience ruined by tryharders.
as such, i prefer stats should be even bothered to be watched.
and if people use the exscuse of " it’s for see how i improved " that’s a fat lie right there. especially because if you really want to improve, you can clearly see it by going in the battlefield.
Cheers^^
Im simply a statistically minded person. So yeah, Im interested in all stats in games to judge how I’m doing.
Thats reflect that. Even stats of how many teammates we did heal and so on.
Any competitive game goes around stats, they fufill the game.
i don’t think it’s supposed to be a competitive game.
yes, i’m sure events will be made. more like war thunder.
but as i said, stats are mainly used for brag and create even more toxicity around the community.
no wonder why many people ( included me ) left r6s.
and it’s more related than you want to admit.
so, once again, i my chase. i rather have my stats hidden. and yes, i don’t hide that i might be a bad player without aim or who knoes. because i’m looking for have fun. not be toxic and brag about numbers.
but i do respect your idea.
I agree that this game isn’t meant to be competitive. It’s going to be a casual shooter for me. Although people are going to be toxic to other players regardless of how much stats are availiable. And most players are going to be flamed off of the stats shown in just the lobby (score, caps, kills, etc…). Even if this were all invisible, people would still flame off of player placement and what they view as that players contribution. World of Warships is a great example of this with barely any stats being shown in game and players still being toxic most matches in the unranked mode. The ranked mode is constant flaming every match and theres no stats availiable in match for people to view. My point is, toxic people are going to be toxic no matter what.
As theelite wanted us to revive this thread per Data analysis available to the player - #9 here we are.
I’m not a fan of the idea myself as it encourages scummy tactics like hiding in the spawn or flocking to high winrate nations.
Reposting from other thread:
Public statistics will only need to negativity because comparisons will be made.
I think it will help add transparency to incoming nerfs to see statistical data.
Overall I think it’s a good idea.
Global stats for weapons / soldier classes, that do not include any personal data, seems fine.
Personal KDRs visible to the public would be a big nono.
Global stats would be good, yeah.
Tracking relevant statistics allow you to manage your profile and relate the statistics you find on your stats page to formulate a sort of playstyle or headspace where you’re aware of things like how effective you are with certain weapon types or vehicles. Things like this would take months of notation to figure out simply by playing and observing at a real-time pace. A statistics page isn’t a Guinness World Record book, but rather a resource for committed players, role-players, analysts and others to figure things out that would take ages without one. I think I rest my case.
I think if you wanted to do that it would need to be something less crude, but it’s a good idea.
There’s a ton of variables to be mindful of.
7 months later.
mh, let me see.
i’d say.
why bother.
if you don’t know what you are even doing, sounds like someone elses problem.
" jokes aside ". i don’t see the point of tracking points on how good you have used your weapons good enough against bots.
85 if not 90% of the kills that everyone makes are made on bots.
even if you are good enough like me, shiivex, virt or any outthere, you know for a fact that you face 120 soldiers whitch 10 or 20 were controlled by players in that moment of the death.
doesn’t account much to know you propency in killing bots.
but you do you.
the world is full of questionable people, and i’m no different. but not when it comes stats
i could adress the other parts of the comment, but i don’t have to, nor need to.
we just have different opinions.
i don’t see the utility nor the need to, whether you do.
that’s all.
have a nice day.
