I think stats should be added and certainly be public.
Why do you have to be a Hate-Magnet all the time?
How will you solve people insulting others for “bad KDR” because someone compared their own stats with those of someone else?
Unless you are still here with the intend of drawing out negative reactions.
He brought up everything worst in us
He is a money whale, a Hate-Magnet, a stat-padder, a troll, a p2w supporter…
We don’t need to solve it.
It’ll make it real easy to tell if someones opinion is worth listening to or to just disregard them because they’re too trash to know what they’re talking about.
For instance: A noob with a KD of 0.5 has an irrelevant opinion by default when it comes to talking about balance. Never balance a game around the braindead.
But if this ever gets added we need to remove bots from Lone wolf to avoid stat padding. Players only.
Let me just repost this here:
I think he just used bad wording here.
That’s always been flawed reasoning in either direction.
Not really.
In every game I’ve played, it’s always been the same. People that are god awful at the game with complete trash performance always had the loudest opinions when it came to balancing a game, and they were always really bad and dumb ideas.
Public stats in a PvP makes it easy to check and see if the person is actually skilled enough to know what he’s talking about, or to just disregard that person from the discussion because he’s about as skilled as a brick.
How is he a stat padder? Yeah he likes to spend money, that’s fine. Yeah his ideas always involve a psw aspect but he always seems open to discussion. As for the hate-magnet thing, really? If you think someone is trolling just don’t respond, easy as that. You don’t mad and the troll doesn’t get attention.

In a game like this, KDR says nothing. They could be solely dedicated to capping points in invasion and have a trash KDR because of it. Or get massive amounts of assists.

always seems open to discussion
Not if you point out the core flaws of his idea. Only if you agree with him but say it needs adjusting. He just keeps ignoring my posts then complains about me flagging his after he repeated his thoughts 10 times without any regards to the responses.
Honestly anyone who bases off of kdr in this game is pretty dumb. The stats that actually matter are win rate and score per minute
I would still like to see % stats towards what classes you kill the most, and to what classes you die the most.

score per minute
score per minute is definitely one that needs more credit than KD.
I always advocated for a “point-death” ratio as well.
But some support actions like building fortifications award little or no points.
Yup. That’s why those stats are best left privately.
Let’s display average KDR of all weapons, as well as winrates.
That way, you don’t have to check whether a guy’s opinion is irrelevant based on his KDR or whatever as you can just refer them to the KDR of a weapon and say it deserves a win or nerf.
If we’re going to get stats, we need to track everything, not just kills/deaths.
Kills
Deaths
Assists
Captures
KPM(kills per minute)
SPM(Score per minute)
Most killed by X
Most kills with X
All public information so you can get a pretty accurate idea of a players skill level location by looking over his overall stats.
Keep those personal stats private. I am sure it would be neat to look at your track record. And if you really want to, you can always screenshot it and share it with others that way. Aka, optional sharing in away.
Again, not a fact of having people compare stats. Just publicly displaying balance stats like best performing weapon in the game will give enough data for balance change related posts.
Why keep them private?
The opinion of a skilled player is infinitely more valuable than the opinion of a sewer lord with worse overall stats than bot programs.
I think more highly of experienced players than “good” players.
Tryharders aren’t always the best.
And experienced players might be more casually oriented.
And someone’s opinion should not be disregarded because they are bad.
And again, when would you need to value that opinion higher outside of balance related matters? As those can be resolved with public non-personal stats.
