I just severely hate with an ever growing passion the fact that the M1903 and M1 have two entirely different damage stats where one is a consistent one shot and the other can take up to 4 shots to kill a man when they’re practically identical in all aspects that determine how much energy is transferred when that bullet hits flesh
It’s a difference of like 12 feet per second, which is splitting hairs of split hairs when talking about 30-06 out of a 24”
Tbh it kind of makes sense.
Generally rifle bullets do about the same damage no matter the weapon, exception being BA rifles with 2 times more damage.
So fedorow doing the same damage as other non-BA rifles with this round is in line with the “rules”.
But then I guess it should be moved to SF rifle category as it fits the criteria. Or leave it as AR and embrace the russian bias.
One thing is realism and the other is balance, stg, federov and as are fine as actually they are dont make even worse the situation you dont wanna see a lot of wherebaoos after that
war thunder is not the same as enlisted i know copy pasted vehicles but if you ask me us really need a balance, japan need some new toys and ge and urrs need to stop… ( something that is no going to happen)

Being tag teamed in WT is obviously entirely way worse, but to still be on the receiving end of the arms race fighting Germany, it ain’t fun being entirely outclassed. For some stupid reason, Gaijin seems to think that a Jumbo is equivalent to the Tiger I and a 50 round Thompson’s supposed to be comparable to an StG. In reality the Pershing is comparable to the Tiger I and the Tiger II and Super Pershing are on par with one another, but good luck ever getting that done
Unfortunately, the StG vs Thompson is just a faction discrepancy we’ll have to overcome via skill. I’d rather they not completely butcher one or both of those guns just to make them “even” or whatever. Bout the only option I know of would be the Hyde Light Rifle, but we don’t know if that’ll ever be added to the game. Lol. Regardless, as Germany and Russia keep getting their better and better stuff, top tier for the US will just keep getting less and less enjoyable as more stuff that just entirely outclasses our own keeps getting added. You ever fought the Jadgtiger with a 90mm? Buddy not even the 105mm of the T29 can pen that thing from the front, and flanking just flat out isn’t an option. The US would probably have to almost entirely abandon ground vehicles for High Tier in favor of planes to be able to take out any of Germany’s highest end vehicles. We’re getting the Super Pershing to take on the Tiger II, but there’s next to nothing that can really compete with anything beyond the Tiger II
It’ll be interesting to see the development of the trees on the high end from here on out. That’s for certain
Many argue that 6.5 wasn’t quite “full power rifle cartridge” and was thus sort of a proto-intermediate cartridge making the Fedorov the first ever assault rifle.
I’m not one of those people, those people are wrong. But they do exist.
US have those kind of stuff
- Better rocket for the M9 to put him on par with the panzershreck
- Other than the super pershing US can field T34 (not the russian one) T29 and other super heavy tank
- In case german and soviet get jet Us have the P80
- For the assault rifle role Hyde carabine Is perfect
- Us can field a 80mm mortar on par with soviet and German
Ecc…
And many other kind of stuff even borrowed from UK or french if we want, there is a lot of stuff who can be add for balance western Allie’s vs axis
I mean, the M2 carbine is pretty close to the StG and can be equipped on all soldiers. I know you are talking about assaulter weapons, and the US only getting an absurd amount of Thompson variants is stupid though.
