They should make it so that the Fedorov’s damage is the same as most of the Japanese Semi’s damage (13.9) fully upgraded. This is like, a big thing that makes me feel like bruh whenever I use the Fedorov, because Fedorovs use the Japanese 6.5×50mmSR Arisaka round, they should logically have the same damage as the Japanese semi autos which also have 6.5×50mmSR Arisaka, and do 13.9 damage, and the Type Hei Auto.
Idk why this has never been brought up by anyone, but it definitely should be a thing, because it just makes sense.
lmao logic does not exist in “Enlisted”.
but loggically it’s correct opinion. Also Federov can both called automatic rifle and assaul rifle (like BAR can called both MG and Automatic rifle) so both guns can teoretically on 2 different classes. But cmon))) logic and Enlisted. Nice joke.
This game doesn’t care about the real muzzle velocity out of guns, they standardize all of them to some average for the ammunition the gun uses. You can check this yourself by looking at the Thompson with a 300mm barrel length vs the Grease Gun with a 200mm barrel length.
Is realistic, is reasonable, I don’t see how you could not support this bruh, it is an issue which should be fixed and addressed lol, but is fine if you dont agree
Except this is still relatively realistic, especially for the bullets used during the war. The difference in velocity from a full sized gun to a carbine using the same ammo would only really have an effect past the ranges we have in game, so the difference between a comparable automatic rifle to a light machine gun would be even less. If anything, what you are asking for would make the game less realistic.
The way I’d like to see it done is to use 1 gun as a set standard, and have all other guns change in damage based on how their ballistics compare to that standard. For the sake of history, I’d advocate for that base being the Kar98k. If a gun has better ballistics, say a PTRD or M2 Browning, then it has better damage accordingly. Worse ballistics, 9mm and .45 ACP SMG’s, have correspondingly lower damage
Makes much more sense than entirely arbitrary numbers, and prevents this
well i have hard time believing that considering that barrel length of japanese SA rifles are mostly longer than barrel length of fedorov(except type otsu)
fedorov
type 97
now SA come in different barrel lengths but they dont have data for muzzle velocity:
type ko
type hei
type otsu
type 4 (i know it is not 6.5 arisaka, but seems like its damage and muzzle velocity needs fix)
edit:
btw here is data for type 11 LMG, but it conflicts with fedorov data cause it has smaller barrel length.
possible explanation is that either data is wrong or japanese had supercharged ammo or soviets had undercharged ammo. i dont care enough to go researching all this.
So purely because it is the sane caliber, and no other factor to speak of, it should be the same damage? Aight I’ll gladly take my Garand, BAR, Johnson, and M1919A6 all doing the same damage as the M1903
