The Emperor should bear full responsibility for this. He should have brought the war machine to a halt instead of letting the atomic bombs be the means to destroy it. As for the fact that the Emperor of Japan was not put on trial after the war, the Americans bear the main responsibility. They, for the sake of their own interests, prevented justice from being served.

Hirohito was definitely a criminal who deserved to be executed, but the use of the atomic bomb is still not justified. They could just wait a few months for Tokyo to be conquered by the Soviets, there was no need to use the atomic bomb.
But the Americans were against the Soviet invasion of Japan, they even opposed and canceled one of the Soviet operations to conquer the northern part of Japan. Without the atomic bomb, the empire would have eventually fallen, but the Americans preferred their interests to the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians.

I always found it strange that people care whether 1 bomb destroys a city or 1000 bombs. The irony is that if the Americans had just made a regular bombing raid, fewer civilians would have died. No one raised the alarm over one plane.
What was needed was an atomic bombing, think for yourself. Regular bombs could have done the same thing.

Nice try, find another one to play with, dude.

I’m just curious. I swear I won’t bother you again.

No offence taken.
