Soviets get another bullet-hose

Am I the only one who waits from the first season of the battle pass for Germans to get a proper counter to Soviet SMGs (especially in Moscow)? All of their subguns in Moscow are spray’n’pray bullet-hoses, while Germans don’t get any of that. And I know that Germans didn’t use fast firing SMGs (except of a captured PPSh-41’s, standard or converted to 9mm). But since for the battle pass they’re digging out prototypes, and rather obscure ones, like the Gewehr 43 DFE, EMP 25 or the PPD-29, is it that hard for Darkflow to give Germans a good CQB submachine gun as a battle pass weapon?

Also, I don’t know if this fits for suggestions or for mess room more, so please don’t be mad.

On the other hand German machine guns are far superior to the Soviet ones for example. I like this kind of asymetrical balancing (and to be honest the German smgs as well  ).

I think a better point to bring up is that most of the maps favor smgs of lmg with cqc design

Ummm no? What exactly do you want?

Germany already has plenty of amazing SMGs aka MP40 and MP38 that easily compete with PPSH and PPD. Its just not as good at close range, so keep yoir distance with MP40 and youll destroy them easily.

When i decide to play soviets for a change i usually pick up MP40 from the ground instead of my PPSH, they are just better for different scenarios.

German SMGs are a Jack of all trades sort of thing.

stg 44 is gonna come out that for certain

in berlin german have

better high tier tanks
better mg’s
better bolt actions/semi automatics

the only things they need to combat fairly is a player base, giving a captured ppsh i like giving a panther to the soviets to counter the panther.

what

no they don’t need a captured panther?

Also for OP.
well, you can’t really expect to have Y because of X in a asymetrical balanced game.

that’s why you have to adjust your play stale based on what you have.

if you are really looking for a gun similar to the PPSh, get the finnish smg ( from gold order that i can’t remember the name ). i have it, and it’s basically a ppsh with less rate of fire, but higer damage.

use mgs.

literally the ZB 29 and the MG15 ( which the latter you get earlier, is literally an oversized cqc weapon ) the russians can only dream to get such firepower.

well, a suggestion would imply that you want to change stuff with other stuff.

but you haven’t really given out proper reasons to do so.

germany
does
not
lack
of
equipment.

that’s what im saying

giving a captured ppsh to axis to counter the ppsh is like giving the panther to the soviet to counter the panther

no they don’t need a ppsh?

ya get the fgsII everywhere, and the russians gets the IS1.

sounds balanced to me to some extent

The Germans will eventually get StG44 variants in almost every campaign for assaulters. I would take that over a PPSH anyday

ZB 26

MG 13

At all other I agree.

ye. those

That is exactly what he told you, the germans dont need a PPSh and the soviets dont need a Panther for the game to be balanced.

ah now i see it.

i phrase it differently in mind.

either way, glad we’re one the same " boat " after all.

otherwise we would just bring flames to enlisted which doesn’t need.

STG-44 would be that propper counter, idk where it is for so long. Some will say, but you have already MG42, FG42II, why you need also STG44? But Soviets have already tons of great high tier weapons in Berlin ,with them it’s so easy to rack kills and it’s not only PPSh, DPM. Also DT-49 is very powerful, AVS automatic rifle (is it at least on par in performance with FG42, might be even Soviet counterpart of Gewehr 43 Kurz which is gold order, if only mag was bigger.)

Wouldn’t really call MP 40 or MP 38 amazing, they are mediocre at best (I don’t like the sight picture), the FNAB-43 works way better for me, not to mention all other SMGs that are higher in the progression.

And German SMGs definitely aren’t better then Soviet ones at range. They are as much better further away as they are up close. Or at least that is what I can tell after playing some games with PPD-40 DSZ and PPK-42. They are incredibly good at longer ranges - I mean, the PPSh-41 is the most stable SMG in the game.

Soviet get all that, while the only really good SMG on the German side in Moscow is the Beretta M38 (which for some reason comes with a twenty round magazine despite having a thirty rounder modeled in this campaign) and the MP 35/I.
And while I don’t want symmetrical balance because I know that German SMGs just were like that, battle pass weapons is where they can put some interesting prototypes, maybe some fast firing ones.
In short, what I want is variety - Soviets have bullet hoses in regular progression and they got the PDM-42, a slower firing gun. So, if Germans use slower firing SMGs, why don’t they get a bullet hose in the battle pass?

No MP40 is amazing. Its great at range, PPSH is good at spitting distance. Stop saying soviet smg op buff axis. They are both fair in different aspects

Only in Tunis and Normandy.

That’s the reason why when I play normandy (Ger), i have 1 lmg squad, and 1 smg squad.
While when I play berlin (russia) i have two smg squad.
Because… it’s useless to have 3 russian lmg in a squad, one is enough.
