Just play the bloody Soviets.
FNAB Premium in Africa?
Wrong, zk-383 exists
Well. The excuse is getting old and just makes everything worse in terms of their PR-work.
You should invest in the Suomi in Moscow, it’s a pretty good one. Stg ancestor is also nice if you plan longer range firing.
Smgs aren’t Germany’s area of expertise… Since semis aren’t good anymore (you’re better off with a bolt action if you’re a good shot) you’re pretty much left only with lmgs and the mkb42h in Moscow. The pz4 tank is good until competent t50 drivers enter the fray.
It’s easier in Berlin as lmgs choices are better and the fg42 can hold it’s own in cqb.
I would disagree. Id say MP40 because of better sights, and the magazine is vertical.
Hate having mags on the side of my gun. Cant see anything to my left
Use Mp 35 instead - magazine is on the right. ^^
yea we know Germany suffers
Not in 3 campaigns though
And that is injustice, #morezk383
Dont matter. If its on the side that means that it is bad. I want to have FOV with a close range SMG
Mp40 is fair in overall use making it a reliable weapon.
The stg42h is a beast at medium and close combat and can hipfire pretty good. Only at distance it lags the accuracy but that’s fine since it’s technically a assault rifle prototype of the stg44. Always go for the big ammo bag and at least a pioneer in your squad and you can get 130 kills easily
*Mkb42h
I got your point ( but i couldn’t resist to make that dumb offer. ^^).
I’m not saying that.
I don’t want symmetrical balance, I’m not asking for any guns to appear in progression.
I want uniqueness: Soviet SMGs are quick firing, so they got something slower in the second battle pass - the PDM-42. German SMGs are slower firing, so it would be nice if they got a bullet hose in the battle pass.
But I’m not asking for any campaign changes, just to introduce unique weapons for each faction in the battle pass.
I’d really like to see you win a duel on about 75-100m with the MP 40 against the enemy armed with the PPSh-41 or the PPD-40
I know, I have the Suomi (and I even did a video comparing it with the MP 40). I picked it exactly for that reason - to maybe have a counter to Soviet SMGs at close ranges.
And while it is an incredibly fun weapon and imo second best battle pass weapon in the game (the best is obviously the G 43 DFE, although I haven’t tried the MKb 35/III) - getting 10-15 kills in under a minute on the third objective on Quarry is a lot of fun, it can’t really be equated to either of the PPD SMGs in room clearing.
The Beretta M1918 would probably be the only SMG on German side to stand a chance against Soviet ones below around 20-25m.
Soviets got SMG’s and Germans have MG’s
Can we at least agree that the Berreta M38 in Moscow is a bad meme?
It definitely is.
Especially that they got magazine capacity wrong - I’m pretty sure that the magazine modeled in Moscow version of the Beretta is actually a thirty, not twenty rounder.
Yes, and I don’t want it to be otherwise. I like asymmetrical balance.
However, it would be cool in my opinion if battle pass would introduce weapons that require different playstyles than “tech tree” guns - Soviets have spray’n’pray subguns perfect for room clearing so they get in the battle pass something that shoots slower but is more stable, Germans have slower firing subguns slightly better at range so they get a bullet hose SMG as a gold order weapon.
And we had one good (albeit underappreciated) example of that - When soviets got the PDM-42. It was completely different than almost every Soviet SMG (besides the PPS-42 and 43).
Or Darkflow should just give weapons that are completely unique and different, like the Naiman mortar, Berdan II or the Pedersen device.
Because now it feels like re-skins of regular progression weapons: Soviets get another “pocket MG 42” with large magazine, Germans get another two SMGs with around 500 rpm, and Allies get essentially two different Thompsons. The only really different things about those guns are that two of them - Hyde Model 35 and Erma EMP 44 have the sliding magwell, just like the MP 40/I and the VMP 1926 gets a drum mag with… 25 rounds.
