It occurred to me that with the new super update that will come to Enlisted it could be used to create some maps based on some areas of Manchuria, Korea and northern Japan to be able to have combat between Soviets and Japanese, introducing new weapons or vehicles to both nations.

Soviets never landed on Japan, and the way they set it up Manchuria and Korea are a log way off if ever, as Japan is unlikely get anything that can rival the late war heavies. Khalkhin Gol is possible though, however it is likely very low on the level priority if it is even on the radar because very few people know of that skirmish, and even less care about it.

Kurils are a political landmine which I don’t want to step in, so I disregarded that. However, OP probably is referring to Hokkaido which is a big no from me.
Ya, Japan still claims that Russia is Occupying there land.
As long as battle rating equalizes current Japanese max level gear with mid-range Soviet gear at best, I would like that.
I would also like to see Allies and Soviets be able to face off as well.
That’s what the entire purpose of the battle rating system will be.

Understand one thing japanese lv 30 equipment is worse than soviet early moscow one, even with the new system, japanese get erased by soviet ppd38,bt7,il2,yak,Madsen,DP ecc…
Yes japanese can still fight with an mp34 extended megazine, semi and rocket luncher but because of this nothing stop people with avs and t50 join the battle
It sounds like you fundamentally don’t understand the intent behind the battle rating system.
I understand it, you can divide equipment in 3 type
Low-end
Mid-end
High-end
Currently japanese one are low-end mostly, some like rocket luncher, mp34 extended (600 rof) and type 96 are mid-high end
Now because mostly jap player use them nothing avoid same level gear soviet join the battle aganaist them
The BR system is not perfect him simply match your gear level aganaist another player with the same gear level, wo can be better than your even if have the same level
In this case soviet equipment is far better than japanese one already from the beginning soviet field more firepower than japanese can field after 30 lv of grind
It means that Japanese gear, if balanced correctly, would not match against any of the gear that you claimed they would match against.
And tell me what gear japanese need be matched aganaist soviet? Because i cant find some soviet early equipment wo is not better or equal than their jap countepart, simply japanese dont have a single advantage aganaist them

It will complicate issue but i think pacific war need its own tier japan should be use everthing they got. Their best gier is barely compete with uk/ud mid tier vehicles.
When you click “show me mid gear, high tier and pacific tier” button will help a lot to new players to equip their army according to which area and maps they want to play.
Japan vs Soviets can be balanced with this.
Add some maps from northern china,manchuria and mongolia to see japan vs soviets.

In terms of infantry equipment, Japan doesn’t have a problem matching anything other than full auto trooper weapons with the way they have it set up right now. For vehicles (mostly tanks because Japan has quite a good lineup of planes), yeah Japan needs to be locked to the first tier for the time being, but there are things that can be added that get them up to the M4A2 level of technology, which were built but left on the home islands to defend it. Seeing as how the devs are going to be allowing Tigers and T-34/85s into Moscow, I see no reason to not give Japan things like Chi Nus or Chi Tos. Sure they will never be able to fight Jumbos and Pershings if they are added, but the matchmaker should prevent that.

No it was never put into action, it was the IJA’s plan to invade Russia while the IJN wanted to fight in the Pacific. Ultimately, the IJN’s plan won after there was a skirmish at Khalkhin Gol between Russia and Japan.
