Soviets also have the best plane rockets(132mm top the HVAR…) and plane AT cannon actually fires HVAP… so yeah, is on par to US planes, since you can get a better P40E with 2 100kg and 1 250kg too…

i have been playing germany low tier against all of em soviets and muricans, and i cant really blame any of my victories and losses on any given piece of equipment.
matches, in my experience, are actually lost by the team that camps away from the objective. as soon as you see your team mount the horseshoe in the minimap, you know you are in for a painful ride. almost always you are doomed. and the same goes for the opposition.
somehow, dont really know why, soviets tend to do it noticeably more, therefore their win/loose ratio seems to suffer. must be that “enemy at the gates” feeling they crave, i guess. or maybe all of them are still suffering severe PTSD from their previous experiences being farmed in berlin?
I think we’re overlooking a couple major factors in what my opinion leads me to say the M9 is the best
A: it’s a rocket. Not only is it a rocket, but it’s a rocket fired from a toob
B: America
C: America
D: America
E: it’s a HEAT rocket
F: it’s NOT a shape charge
And needless to say, I’m mainly joking here, but my bias is 100% influencing my thought process when I say the M9 is the best AT weapon in the game
Now, not to say I won’t take a M18 Recoilless Rifle. I absolutely would. I also saw someone mention the M20 Super Bazooka and that thing’s a BEAST of a rocket launcher.
The M20 can penetrate up to 11” (280 in commie units) and my internet’s being stupid and not loading the report on the Aberdeen Proving Grounds test of the M307 HEAT round for the M18 Recoilless Rifle
Edit: from what I can tell of the report, the M307 HEAT round could penetrate a 4” homogenous steel or a 5” homogeneous steel plate. After penetrating either of those it also went through 5” of air space and an additional inch of steel behind that
So…what say about 7 1/2-8” of homogenous steel? From what I’ve found so far at least
It’s .40lb of either Composite B or 50-50 Pentolite with a muzzle velocity of 1.200fps if anyone knows how to calculate penetration off of that

Exactly my issue. as a T34 i could probably waste my time and flank them from the side. but usually they camp at the greyzones also the maps are hard to navigate to get to their side
At this point i just kill every player i could see not even playing the objective. there’s no point in doing so, when the germans would just steamroll you in a second

Berlin is different
SB 2m has no real opposite. IL-2 or Su 6 is a much closer opposite to the Ju-87 B-2 and trades sheer bomb weight for armor, versatility and firepower…and with a much better flight model.
Fancy being intimidated by the slowest 1 trick pony in the sky (Ju-87 B-2). This thing cant even defend itself (and if you do get shot down by it…you really deserved it)
If you can’t shoot down Soviet shit planes 2 br - Check your hands, there can only be problems with fighters

Nice try…but your first post and the response was specifically about the Ju-87 B-2…dont suddenlty try and change it to the D-5

Still comparing to the wrong plane. IL-2 or Su 6 is the comparison. SB 2m is a tech tree free bee that has no opposite currently, like the Ju188
Does one have to have unlocked “everything” in the whole game to weigh ones ability to use/perform with an IL-2 , Stuka, Dauntless or *insert plane here? (Fyi No, i have barely touched japan)

more than that, over time you realize that airplanes without payload, speed + controllability are garbage.
I would change my mind about Soviet aircraft if instead of 100 x 6 => 250 x 2, or 8 rbs + 4 x 50 => 250 x 2
How much time does one need? does 3 years in Enlisted and 10 years in warthunder seem sufficient? seems your account has been active only 7 months (correction, year and a half Enlisted, 7 months warthunder). Pretty impressive you have unlocked, upgraded and mastered every squad/vehicle??
Ju-87 has 1 of those things and its still decent, IL-2 has 2.5 of those things plus the ability to contest for air superiority…
Thats a personal preference thing, you like bigger bombs over versatility.
Hopefully one day we can just all choose our payload and ammunition belts
Ju 87 has the shittiest turn rate and speed of all german plane though, actually all planes, even biplanes are faster

War Thunder has nothing but crooked models and game engine to do with this bot corral.
Within our game, the big bomb works the same on both tiger 2 and pz2c
Because of this it has no stall effect and handles perfectly.
Maneuverability is enough to shoot down IL, fighter planes will of course shoot you down.
Dude the IL2 1941 fly faster than Ju 87 and has 12 turn time… legit the 2nd most agile bomber of the game after Sb-2m… do you even check the stats?

And yet the same assets and basics of vehicle and plane combat apply…right down to ammunition types, angles of attack , weak spots, leading, bombing. maneuevers…even if they are dumbed down.
If you know them in Warthunder, you know them in Enlisted.
so does a 100Kg, 50kg or even a plane Cannon if you are accurate.
