Something needs to be done about KV1

i know. that is why i am i consider KV1 a BR3.5 tank. too good for BR2, but too weak for BR4. if there was ±0MM it would be ok there.

Even fools know that the Soviet BR3 is more popular than the BR5.Completely fabricated data.

I agree, ±0 MM would be ideal for the game, but that’s not what the topic is about. I’m only showing that the claims about KV-1 having >150 mm of armor in the turret there are false.

And yet BR4 Germany always get siphoned out to play vs BR5 USSR/Americans

Pixel perfect hit, just move a bit to the left and you will hit area behind a gun that will eat your shell, yours shell could damage tank a bit further and maybe kill one crewman however it will never end up in destroying KV-1. After that shot KV-1 will point at you and destroy your ass in a single hit without aiming.

I know IS-2 cannot be loaded before the enemy repairs the gun, but I don’t remember the loading speed of Pz.4H being that slow.

Unless you actually aim at the ammo, which isn’t what I was doing in the screenshots because they were just to prove that you can pen there. You can one shot the KV-1 as a Puma, if you actually aim at where the ammo is:

I know but it’s not reliable at over 100m. As they will be moving their turret and tank around, there are tons of obstacles around so you may miss your shot and hit it’s turret which deals zero or little damage and you will get screwed.

Besides damage drop off is always on so you will need more than a single hit to destroy that ammo rack, just shooting it at 15m is not a real test of what you will encounter in real matches.

I am talking about the main plate, that sits behind a big part of the gun shield and cheeks - which should add up and stack, at least by this picture.

You can read my original comment you’re quoting again. I meant that there is no overlap in the area that you claim:

but you can even visually see the gun shield, the cheek part and the main plate, shouldnt this be 3 times armor?

seriously, I am trying to find a real KV1 foto being in construction - to see how the turret looks like without its gun. Cant find a pic …

And this still isn’t a Puma vs KV-1 topic, they’re in 2 different battle ratings for a reason. Go make a new topic about ±0 MM or something if you’re so keen on changing the topic constantly

So? BR2 is often matched vs BR3 as we have now +/-1 BR not +/-0 BR. T28E can easily fight vs BR3 German tanks as they have same armor or even weaker when you look at PZ3M

No, because you can easily see where each part ends

I’ll even highlight it for you

So what’s the point of this rant you’re having here? I already said I support ±0 matchmaking. We all know uptiers aren’t fair, fighting a Panther in a M4A2 or KV-1 is just as frustrating. So why do you keep constantly crying about the Puma fighting the KV-1 when that isn’t what the topic is about.

The only reason I even used the puma in my original comments was to show that even a tank with only 106 mm of pen could pen the KV-1 on parts that OP claimed had >150mm of armor on them. I never said Puma vs KV-1 was fair or anything like that.

I guess you are right, I have just tried it out myself, I was overreating, tho I have to say, that armor should technically stack there, yet I also manage to penetrate those areas.
I dont know what to believe again, happens regularly : )

Yeah, and can you tell me where? As I can penetrate its turret basically anywhere with Pz III N.

and as far as I know, its heats doesnt have 150mm+ penetration

Its mantlet is clearly not overlapping.

Otherwise the mantlet whole would have to be outside of the armor you think it is overlapping. But that’s simply not the case. There’s no armor behind the mantlet.

KV-1 simply never had 150mm armor. Neither in Enlisted or in reality.

Completely made up BS.
