i don’t… usually make posts like this, because i feel like those are pointless, and most of the time don’t really get taken seriously by devs as they simply avoid reading those and nitpick what they like,

but i’m serious.
did no one actually realized that we get another stug behind paywall? for the third time.

like, one of the most produced tanks in the entire war and we keep getting more prototypes in the main line campaign levels instead?

first one was in normandy.
second one, is locked for full access pack of stalingrad,

and the last one will be on premium for moscow.

what next, premium stug III in tunisia?
even if it will be in the main line up campaing in tunisia, still does not change anything.

i apologize for being somewhat negative, but i’m not really having the " good mood " lately seeing always the " cool stuff " locked for premium ( mainly for cosmetics thought ) but still.
a stug shouldn’t be putted behind paywall. and there are planty more of tank that could and should be for premium that are not stugs.
because again, those were effing mass produced.

They could as well paywall a Kar98 at this point. What’s even more funny/sad is that at the same time we are given prototype weapons without restrictions just because.

And I’m doubble sad as I love the Stug with the short gun (so exactly the premium moscow one). But I must vote with my wallet :sob:

I wanted to give them my monney but then shit hit the fan.

Summary
  • stuff is ridiculously expensive
  • most of offered things are of little or no value to me or are paywalled (yes, a payed feature is paywalled, great design)
  • I’m slowly but constantly losing interest in the game due to stupid design choices

Iirc it was locked as premium during cbt era so yeah… we get al-buttfucked again.

nah, the stug hasn’t really been a thing during CBT.

the first one that was seen, was during CAT.

but then never been saw ever again.

so the first one was with normandy stug G.

I mean you could see the vehicles in the select vehicle menu back there if you scrolled down a bit. At least I can remember the StuG.

Probably because they’re awkward in a game like this.
Then again, the semovente STILL only has AP to be more awkward than any StuG could be.

stug should have bn free to play since normandy. and even the normandy one.

i do own the normandy one and makes zero sence to own since tiger was a thing. i dont regret getting it, did provide me more fun than the price i have payed for it multiple times. but easly could have bn a free to play tank since day one.

all of them.

either way i dont use the normandy one since i got the tiger, and i still rock and have lots of fun with stalingrad one.
but shit makes no sence to be behind a paywall

and yeah, i m expecting another stug in tunisia / jagdpanther in berlin as premiums.

The stug is already label as premium when you look at editor. Some people already know this months ago, so nothing to surprise with.

i’m well aware of that.

problem is.

people fight for way less and ( tbh ) stuff is way less meaninfull.

but when it comes to actual stuff that should make sense to be available, majority of them turns fat blind eyes about it.

which… i’m not really sure if that’s the case as stugs are very rare to find in any mentioned campaign to be honest.

the only few stugs i saw in different matches, were stalingrad.

but even there, occassionally some fresh wrecks cuz of the tunnell vision of some people
( but what do i know, it’s not like i can play all campaigns at once. let alone only having 2 hours of free time in gaming per day… )

oh.

true. since they introduced it , i count by my fingers the number of stugs i saw in normandy .
and i have around 800 batles in normandy. its expencive and the investment gets a tank that just has survivability against 75’s and normal AP rounds.
a 76 shread it with a single shot.
no mg, pricy, and tiger/panther down the line, not sure why is even a premium…

The problem is many people doesn’t like to use tank destroyer in this game because its anti infantry capability is poor.

also that… i rekon now that you talk about it, that even if it was free, we would see as many of them as event berlin tank destroyer or panzer IV/70A

how many we see per week? 0 ? -1?

thats a solid point. panzer IV70/A and jagdpanzer (event) are both solid tank hunters in berlin, and no one uses it and keep spaming the weak turret 1 shot spot panther and or panzer 4’s

They are paywalling as much as possible, to an absurd degree. Playerbase had a minor revolt when Stalingrad came out with nearly half of progression locked away, but they’ve been slowly getting to that ratio with other campaigns even before that. And it’s not just about the ratio, they are paywalling iconic and common stuff way too often. Not just the StuG, they did that even with a T-34 and tried to do it with A PPSh of all things.
