at least they had more choices at penning latter tanks with starter equipment and the other way around…
i kinda find it strange, that somehow, its one of the campaigns i see more human interaction ingame.
medics , vehicles , bombing runs etc , even tho most choose (or cant purchase) and stay f2p.
stalingrad with or without the pack its actually worth to play.
and could easly be 1 less panzer III variant no one would miss.

there were few sent to africa campgain, but placement of air filters caused it constantly clog up with sand, clapping the engine, so they kinda just rejected employment of them.
I wait for them to finally add “Pay to play historically accurate game” option, so all paypigs could play with interesting and historically accurate squads, weapons and vehicles, while plebs will run&gun with lasergewehr-14(88) against M41 Walker (shaped like a bulldog).
Imagine this game with all premium stuff available without paying 60$. Might have been the best ww2 game unironically.
Paypigs pay to be OP, not for what they find interesting.
I see a distinct lack of gimmick weapons fielded.
Like personally I would love the Breda 88 but I’m not paying $20 for a gimmick squad in a campaign I already have a premium for.
Though I prefer to buy premium gimmick squads to premium OP squads.
I know my example isn’t historically accurate but what I’m getting at is it’s something you buy because it’s interesting and not because it’s OP, which is a long the same lines.
Nothing I’ve read in any of my books states that they didn’t get tropical filters just like their PZ3 brothers did.
Some got sent and did well, some were lost in transit.
The main reason (depending on which writer you beleive) says it was due to requirements on the eastern front.
I am very much upset how one of the most iconic tanks, and one that has a very personal meaning to me, has been handled so, forgive my language but piss poor.
First, the StuG III G. Okay , a premium, the first one of it, I can accept it. But its missing very key components that make it crap, even if I love it.
It has the trapezoid mantlet, and if they allow the Jumbo to be in, then it should have both a Coaxial and a Loader operated MG. Period.
This is something we are paying for, do some extra work and put its damn MGs on.
Further to that, the game makers need to do some reading to learn that these were packed with more than 44 shells.
Then we get Stalingrads version.
Locked to those without full access. Which does suck a bit. But okay, I guess it is what it is. I bought full access so no effect to me.
However its gun is anemic when in reality the short barreled StuGs were king KVs and T34s at combat ranges, let alone the long barreled ones. This thing should be pure Anti Armor when deployed, and yet its sub par. Hell if they did some reading they’d realize that even these had Shaped Charge rounds that were extremely effective. And new shells that helped them stay solid while penetrating before breaking up.
Now…we get some early model B locked behind a pay wall…again. You can bet your a$$ that its going to get HEAT to make it absolutely a must have and be able to OHK T34s and T50s while the Stalingrad version struggles.
They have made this thing into a inaccessible, pay for, lemon.
Its, very very bad form. If your gonna put in something that had 10000 copies made, do it right.
We don’t see this issue with Sherman’s and T34s…

Whenever they undoubtedly add KV-1 to Moscow they easily could have added the Stug alongside it with HEAT rounds
