Doubt, I will say the jet situation is similar to the assault rifle situation where dev added bs equipment to match German equipment.
I remember some players said that dev are going to add cold war when as-44 was added to counter stg44. But that was not the case.
Now dev need something for Soviet to counter me262, which is a job that those ww2 Soviet mixed power jet are not capable of. So dev choose to add this post war bs.
I don’t think Enlisted is going “post war” officially.
But pretty sure that they are going to squeeze out the high tier power creep as much as possible with literally everything that was even mentioned before September 2, 1945.
So all the prototypes, all the crazy ideas, all the wunder waffen just for the sake of selling premiums and “holi balans”.
T-44, T-44-100, IS-3, Panther 2, E-50, E-75, E-100 and any other jets/planes that can be ported from WT is coming 99.9999% I bet.
My guess is that after they let jets dominate the games for a while, their next “logical” step will be “strong AA” vehicles such as Wirbelwind, Kugelblitz and T-34 based AA (even though post war Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean) because “we can’t deny cool new addition”.
So if there are those who enjoy this kind of stuff - sure feel free to play on that BR.
However, taking a Pz IV H to battle shouldn’t automatically mean you’re facing Soviet post war stuff.

Both of you have valid arguments.
My response would be that I think DF has made it abundantly clear to us they have ZERO intention of treating the Second World War properly.
Their focus as you mention is on this weird very late war/fantasy world of prototypes that barely made it out of the designer’s head and postwar designs squeezed in because in August 1945 someone wrote down the idea on a serviette at a cafe…
I HATE this. People here are saying dont like it then leave but the thing is we really dont have alternatives.
Hell Let Loose is accurate to WWII but its a completely different style of game. I prefer the more arcade style with smaller maps and shorter match times.
Enlisted does have some things going for it, my squadmate and I generally speaking like the gameplay.
It’s just such a shame the devs have went this weirdo route as well as sticking their heads in the sand when it comes to fixing problems that have existed for years now, and refusing to add new content that actually makes sense.
As Ive said before, for example I like the T20 I think its a good gun. But its not even a prototype, its like draft 2 in 10 drafts before USA made the M14 rifle way after the war.
I want to use Lee Enfield .303 rifles but cant thanks to stupid uptiers facing Japanese soldiers with Rambo Terminator wannabe assault rifle machine gun hybrid things.
I find it really interesting how when myself and others ask for UK-Commonwealth or Italy + Other Axis Nations as separate factions, or a new France-Poland-Netherlands-Belgium faction, people scream noooo theyll need prototypes

Enlisted has been trying to rectify a player problem (merge)…which is aparantly why we cant have BR ±0 for the BRS we already have. (its slowly getting better)
I dont know why they are flirting so much with needing another BR when:
A: We aparantly still dont have enough players for the BR ±0 we have
B: There is heaps of work left to be done on the existing BRs
Now having said that, I dont mind the jets, I rather like them. At least the 262 and the Meteor, I can tolerate the Kikka, P-80 is barely acceptable (this isnt the model that flew at the end of war but similar)…Really dislike the Su-9 but who are we kidding…always knew its was going to happen because assymetry is slowly being eradicated…
My only concern is Jet Payloads may need to be smaller/niche as to not overshadow prop aircraft…either that or Prop planes need more interesting loadouts.
For example
- P-47 will still be Top shelf, regardless of Jets simply because its loadout is “that good”
- Me 262 (50 mm) will be niche (mainly cracks tanks and maybe the odd plane, not much else)
- the other me 262 should have 2 rockets and the 500kg bomb goes to the 109 k-4 or fw190
- su-9 should get similar treatment
We don’t necessarily need a new BR, we could just separate BR5 as fantasy BR and move everything WW2 down to BR4 (which would now act as a general end game WW2 BR) with PPSh, STG, Tiger 2, etc.

Tiger 2 should not be br 4. Panther is more than enough

We have the same situation now in BR5, where Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 are together, even though Tiger 2 is way stronger.
The thing is that the “highest” BR will always mean “everything stronger than the previous BR and beyond to infinity”.
IS2 and Tiger II P is totally fair, if needed small balance tweaks could be done here and there, like removing Tiger II Ps top mounted MG for example.
Also PPSH vs STG could be done - but only if STG gets a rate of fire nerf, which would even be realistic.
FG42 gets moved to MG gunner, while second FG42 stays in BR5 - those kind of changes could easily be done.
Also what I would personally like, is if Panzer IV F2 vs first T34 would become top of then BR2 - which is defined more Iconic than Panzer III N vs T50 and T28.
So we would basically have:
BR1 → BT7, Panzer III J, T50, Crusader, M3 Lee, Panzer IV E, T28
BR2 → T28E, Panzer III N, T34, Panzer IV F2, Sherman 75, Stug III F
BR3 → Tiger H1, Jagdpanzer IV L48, Panzer IV H, IS1, T34 85, KV2 and KV1, Sherman 76, M18
BR4 → Panther, Tiger IIP, Jagdpanzer IV L70, IS2, SU100, Pershing, Jagdpanther, Jumbo 76.
BR5 → Tiger II H, IS3, Superpershing and new post war heavy tanks.

But how about america? How will they counter tiger 2 and stg 44 if all the “fake” stuff got removed?
Time for BAR as infantry weapon - if a nation deserves that its the US.
Also people seem to forget that the difference between select fire rifles and MGs is not only in their dispersion. SF rifles deal above 13.5dmg, MGs deal under 13.5 dmg. This could easily be adjusted.
