Less a suggestion; more an observation. I’m reading from multiple sources that the SKS-30 en-bloc clip was loaded into the BOTTOM of the rifle. Why this was done is not clear, but the reload animation in game would appear to be not correct.
I didn’t see a single community manager who would answer this. This question is very meticulously ignored for some reason), although I added a topic with information from historians just in case.
I heard they will add it alongside anti non historical button and proper italian clothing
Also, give it a bayonet
We forwarded this problem to the devs, but from there is up to them.
P.S I hope players understand that change of reload animation is gonna highly impact on reload speed, since reloading from the bottom is a lot less practical and convenient.
I don’t see a problem here.
The G43 Kurz also got changed to the disadvantage in the name of historical accuracy.
The SKS with it’s damage is still strong enough even with a long reload.
Well, devs could just increasing the reload speed like what they did to Type 4 rifle tho. If anything, decrease the overall reload speed and increase the recoil of all weapon would much help the spray firing habit which could reduce the sweatiness and make the game less chaotic spamming like what we faced in current late BR.
SKS30 is already the best semi-auto rifle for BR3 so I dont see how that would be a problem at all.
M1907 is close second, might be a question of preference but SKS has a much better one hit kill range which is handy when fighting past 50m.
But the rest of the rifles are at least nerfed with long reload time, SKS could easily be BR4 with its stats.
That’s not the point.
Devs should faithfully reproduce the weapon instead of invent new one.
Like, M1 garand with drum mag would be practical and convenient.
But we don’t want that.
They could’ve recycled the PTRS-41 animation rather than the M1, it’s just .4 seconds slower than the current one, and it would’ve made a lot more sense. The “mag release” catch is basically identical on the SKS-30, just smaller.
Just like information on “Fedorov rifle” never having 3-round burst was forwarded.
Yet in the game we still have the fictional 3-round burst.
In fairness; it was only released, what, a month ago? Changes do take time.
Fedorov rifle?
Well, feedback on the fact that 3-round burst doesn’t have any historical evidence was brought up by the community exactly on the day when it was first announced.
No, it does not have a bayonet
