Since the premium squads will be nerfed, so what about a price decrease for (future) premium packs?

Attempts can be made. If you run into issues, I can always poke a community manager for you, dunno if that would help tho.

The issue here is as already mentioned; (continuing) selling & keep asking 30,-. Take the money, keep quit until 1 day before OBT and then announce the changes.

I suppose that is a bit bad but who knows maybe they only made this decision yesterday.

I do agree that announcing this one day before implementing it, while promoting their purchase with big GET YOUR PREMIUMS BEFORE REMOVAL signs everywhere seems a little scummy.

Well I for one was going to grab the two squads I didn’t have before CBT ends but with these changes and no change to their price , no chance and doubtful I’ll buy premium squads in future with such little worth.
Better off buying gold and using that to advance campaign than wasting it on overpriced squads … and yeah that sounds fun not.

This seems like the intended consequence of making premium squads totally irrelevant and pointless to use.

I was planning on buying the new OBT premiums but I’m gonna go buy another game instead :man_shrugging:

I don’t think it’s complicated. If premium sales tank after this, they can lower the price. If not, they won’t.

As it stands it’s a sellers market. They can afford to do things like this, ride out the storm and see what shakes out the other side. I wouldn’t expect a decision out of courtesy or without data to back it up from them.

They have plenty of internal data. They just don’t like to show it it seems.

We had a post with global stats, including what guns performed best, last year, before you joined afaik.

Can anyone pull it up for me? I don’t feel like searching for it rn.

Thank you good sir.

hopefully, they continue to publish this material. Maybe even bump it to bi-annual releases. I think it could help demystify a lot of changes that seem to happen suddenly (whether announced or stealth patches)

Per major build would be even better- notice how it’s the Kar98k and the 1907 that are tied?
It’s because the 98k used the be the default weapon for Germany, like the 1907 is for Russia.

So those stats are taken across multiple significant versions of the game.

I think the 98k was still the default gun back then
G33 isn’t thàt old.

No, the G33 was definitely the default at the time of that news article. It was when I joined the closed beta, I just know the 98k tidbit because someone brought it up in the original post on the article.

You just don’t want others to be able to afford premiums.
$15 per is a fair price for inf. Maybe a bit more for vehicles.

Yeah the biggest kick in the teeth is the fact that they promoted the shit out of an 80 dollar package for all the premium squads just over a week before nerfing them into the ground. Listen, I don’t care about nerfing the soldiers within, give them less stats, one less rank it is what it is. But the fact that they now aren’t even letting you train your other troops by putting them into these squads is what gets me. Why slot a squad with no ability to progress any troops when you can slot a squad that, while less overall campaign xp, also allows you to gather troop xp? And not only that, have more than four people??? maddening.

The premium squads give double campaign XP though. Not less

read it again. I said “when you can slot a squad that, while less overall campaign xp, also allows you to gather troop xp”. There is no point to slotting a premium squad over a normal squad if it limits your progression for your troops to upgrade, as well as not have more than 4 a squad.

Literal quote from their store: Premium squads receive + 100% experience gain in battles for soldiers and campaign level.
Not to mention I can easily notice this in game considering I didn’t have a premium squad until like 10 days ago.
