yeah but the nerf they are doing upon OBT release is no longer allowing you to put other soldiers in the premium squads. So it will be the same 4 maxed soldiers, making that +100 exp gain for soldiers worthless

I was simply pointing out that when you said this:

no, I’m saying that slotting normal squads will provide less overall campaign XP than using a premium squad, but instead you will be able to level the soldiers in a normal squad. You can no longer do that with a premium squad.

Why upgrade your soldiers if these already come with 5 star soldiers?
Only future premium squads will be getting 4 star soldiers.
You are exxagerating a lot.
They still come with
- the best perks (even though they nerfed them there a bit)
- more gear (med, charges and nades) than a normal sqaud gets at the start
- have max leveled five star vets,
- have max leveld unique guns (and they sometimes performs way better than the “free” guns)
- still give XP boost for the campaign level.
Saying they “nerfed them into ground” cause you cant grind soldiers with them is just embarassing, even though I would agreee there that it was kinda unfair from Gajin promoting the squads and then announcing the future of them just like seconds before the sale ends (but then again it was expectable for me).

Absolutely agree. Almost every player fail to realise how good the equipment of their faction is. They might be suited for a different role compared to others but that does not make it any bad.
It is the same for premium squads. They fail to see how OP they were before. And even after nerfs, they are pretty darn good. Might have to stop the mindless runs into cap points but that does not make it bad. All premiums guns are great at shooting from a distance.
New players will likely find the premium squads OP even with the nerfs.
Now they sell nerfed squards for 50$, which u cannot buy separately. Ironic.
It’s not defending of what they have done with Berlin CBT overall, bacause it’s awfull.
But that price is again higher because of the CBT access factor. And there is 600 Gold with it too.
