Shovels in all game

They should add shovels in all fronts not only Africa, because they were very used in all fronts in WWII

And on all troops too. Don’t limit shovels to Engineers only, just make them more effective to use as an Engineer.

What for?

So it work.Just some wait.

you can already equip them on every class in tunisia

Really? I rarely play that campaign, so serves me for not knowing in the first place. I’ve avoided it like the plague since, as a support-type player, seeing Engineers so far along in the progress tree just wasn’t something I wanted to put up with. I’d rather keep slowly developing all of my Normandy Squads to 100% research and perfect-roll soldiers and max-level guns.

yeah. you get a shovel with every engineer you buy. but you can also just get more in logistics and give them to everyone else

i rarely play it myself. i am only lvl 17 axis and i dont intend to play more in the near future

I mean, it’s just a rehash of Normandy gear from what I’ve seen. Well, with some exceptions in the Commonwealth kit and presence of Bayonets, but let’s be honest… that’s worth the servers the game is hosted on to me.

I put on them on a few axis, in Tunisia, playing as a engineer, you don’t seem to get time to use them, in fact i have never used them, even though i have them, and as you cant hit anyone with them, bit useless.

They need to make it so if an engineer has a shovel he can make prefabricated trenches and defensive structures like the sandbag buildings and the walls with the firing ports.
But first they need to slow the gameplay down a bit.
Shovels as they are now, are fairly useless.

I do like that idea

perhaps they could make a soldier’s loadout have an effect on run speed (eg having a lmg and 2 det packs would make u run slower than a lmg and 2 nades or 1 det pack

Weight decreases your stamina.

should decrease speed too i would think, since ppl dont run as fast with 20 lb weights on their back as they do without

“They were very used in all fronts in WWII”

amazed

Any proof of this outlandish claim?
