Continuation of the celebration of the absurd.Digging

An idea came to my mind, only the Italians and the British have shovels, but you can now play for them in custom matches.

So I tried out digging
In Berlin (Kroll Opera)
In Normandy (Airfield)
In Moscow (Manor)

What I would like to note is that digging in these campaigns is done no worse than in Tunisia (You can’t dig near buildings, you can’t dig floors either).

  • Berlin

Bug with levitating Tiger 2(There is a good shelter under the tiger)

In Berlin, you can dig: asphalt, paving bricks, earth.

Bug with ruins.

This can be used as a transition for infantry from one trench to another and as an anti-tank ditch.

  • Normandy

You cant dig while not destroy object

(oops an accident)

This can be used as a safe passage across the runway.

The hangar is already a non-digable object.

The moat can serve as a transition between two hangars.
And as a trap xD

His Majesty is a torn and indestructible tire.

In general, digging in other companies looks good.
And the plane did not work out properly to bury (

And I could understand it only when I went into the room, Berlin, where it was possible to take Tunisian squads.

Good work man!

I would say some allowed or blocked digging areas do need to be specified (digging in solid pavement!?). I guess that is why currently we could only dig on Tunisia.

Nice research/experiment regardless.

I showed all types of soil\soil\concrete that are being dug and indicated what exactly is not being dug.
I don’t want to dig the map for three hours, it’s a pointless waste of time.

I meant specified as fixed or revised by the developers, like the runway for example. That seems a bit too much.

You did a good job.

I agree too much.

That Soviet soldier was a random player who asked what this shovel was made of?xD

Man I totally forgot this mechanic was even implemented  It’s cool and all to see it’s effects in the various campaign lvls and the different surface materials and whatnot. But it’s just eh, like how practical is this even with the pace the core game currently flows at?

Less than an engineer.
But with a protracted game and the efforts of 5 players, it can be useful.

Lol imagine any amount of players above 2 working together in this game  that’d be the day

Edit: Just remembered that you can also have your AI help you do stuff. Idk if that’s possible with the digging, but still I was talking about human players!

Does anyone have any time to even dig before they get blasted? I could understand if the game gave the defenders 3 minutes to dig and prepare. I just dont see how in the middle of battle one could dig and have enough time before getting dead.

No way, now it’s useless mechanics, you don’t even get paid for it.
