I’ve wanted to purchase a British unit and I’m wondering if the Tempest could be useful in taking down bomber runs. If anyone has a suggestion any are welcome.
I do not recommend it.
Pop down some AA’s with Engineers if you want to take out the bombers. The aircraft for Allies still seems underpowered/ broken.

allies have most powerful air in normandy and you call them underpowered? also with fixed hitbox registration they are seriously OP.
well idk about tempest, but even standard planes are good enough to take down bombers now.

id wait for discounts now the price is too high, i like that plane too but regular planes are good enough, if you want to feel special then buy either some tank that is actually visible on the battlefield or som infantry premium squad , nobody sees planes even you dont see whole plane just its interior … idk , definitely not worth this high price
i understand though , the passion for aircrafts, myself is looking for breda 88 bomber in tunis and awaiting discounts there because it has two 100kg bombs , has rear gunner and has frontal MGs
also it is aircraft ive never seen before therefore it makes sense for me there , in tunisia there is generally lack of aircrafts with bombs
while in normandy there isnt
and tempest there is really just a gimmick
but it is the most air combat rich campaign in the game so if you want to have cool british airplane then it can be good but enlisted is primarily about ground battle , tanks and infanftry are the most visible things here
and aircrafts usually ends up as kamikaze fighters in here which is sad but doesnt mean everybody has to do it like this
Nope … and Tempest should have one 500lb bomb and 10 RP3 rockets like the Beaufighter

The Bf 110, (the first plane that the Axis get) is EASILY one of the strongest attack planes in the game. The Ally planes don’t even compare for quite a few levels.
Bf cant really kill tanks (its inf killer though)m P-38 can. P-38 is better fighter.
You can de-track tanks pretty well and leave them stranded. Infantry don’t stand a chance. Aircraft only really need to get hit once by it and they are screwed. Meanwhile, the A-20 with 6x 12.7mm plus a 2x 12.7mm upper gunner, and a 1x 12.7mm lower tailgunner fire into Axis aircraft all day long with very little effect.
The bombs on the A-20 are decent, but can be very hard to hit accurately in many cases, plus you only carry 2 pairs of bombs, so you are making one pass forward and one pass back at best before needing to fly to the re-arm.
Meanwhile, the Bf110 can make around 6 passes before flying to the rearm, and still have as many kills as the A-20 or more.
I have it, it is a bnz fighter, great bombs, not a good turner but fast! I love it, now Hispanos do proper damage too.
Too bad most tanks spawn-camp or that most people prefer killing camping tanks.
Pilots must be dumb and do not even try to dodge. Bf is slow and not very agile.
Its not the counter of the Bf and iiirc they recently buffed plane HMG and not autocannons.
wait for them to add British units into the main progression

idk why you are mentioning a-20… it is just transitional plane that not many people use. you will see 3 planes that people mostly use p38, p47 and p51. p47 is easily best attack plane in the game with its 10 HVAR rockets and 500lbs bomb, not to mention 12x12.7mm guns that now make it deadly to planes. p38 is great starting plane and can easily destroy tanks and it is good fighter. idk much about p51, but people say it is good fighter.
overall p47 and p38 is what makes allies have air supremacy in normandy. they are great versatile planes and you can have both of them in the air at the same time without losing any potential damage on the ground. german planes on other hand are too specialized. they either sacrifice payload or ability to fight in the air.
P-47 is bad because it doesnt have 12 HVARs so its useless.

Basically no premium squads are worth it for what they give, and none are worth it for their cost, just buy premium time and elite battlepass, that’s all you need

p38 is one of the best fighters in the game and the p47 is probably the best CAS in the game

Because it can be devastating in the right hands. On Console its one of the strongest planes at least in Normandy. I know everyone is head over heels for rockets, but bombs can be quite effective too. A-20 is nice as an effective glide-bomber. Though due to its low bomb count you have to have teammates marking targets for you.
The Bf110 cannons outmatch almost everything available. So again, in comparison to the A-20 which is pretty prevalent on console, its ridiculously more powerful, especially for how early on you unlock it.
