After having seen people walk into rooms with the pre nerf semi auto and fire them like they were smgs, I’m glad the rof was nerfed, there was literally no point using an smg that took 2 or 3 bullets each person when you had a perfectly good essentially full auto bolt action with a bigger mag
The rate of fire decrease of the full sized rifle cartridge rifles i honestly don’t mind as they still pack a punch and one shot people most of the time.
However the semi auto fire rate reduction of weapons such as the M1 carbine was not called for.

That would imply the fg42 is even good, the fg42 2, maybe but the 1 and the 2 sniper variant are genuinely worse than the post nerf gewehr 43
Just a more horizontal recoil.
I throw away all my 4star gewehr since it’s now less polyvalant.

The fg sniper is so inaccurate the bullets are coming out the gun 45° from where the scope says they should, like if that’s the level of accuracy in a sniper then the regular one isn’t much better
Try it again, the precision has been up.
And know that the zoom level of the gewehr is more little than the FG.
The soom lvl of the FG is the same as the kar98.
Therefor, it looks like way more not precise while in fact you just see more far because of the zoom.
But still it’s little less accurate in my opinion, but not that much.
I used it yesterday, my friend unlocked it yesterday and confirmed the sniper fg is just firing bullets anywhere it wants

the avs/akt/fg42/m2 /select fire riffles can still be spam fired on semi like an smg but this is fine to you but we cant spam fire the m1 grand when it could be in real life

your right it should be illegal
semi nerf is totally un warranted only germuts cried about m1 grand when they get full atuo for every one but cry about semis
People modified the m1 to be full auto but walking into a room and getting hit with 8 bullets that do 12 damage each like they had full auto on was ridiculous, get rid of the macros then you can get your rof back
This is why people are mad. The ROF nerf broke mouse macros.

I play on console, it’s a net win than people don’t get to empty rifles like they’re ppshs
400 or whatever their previous rof was is within manula clicking territory
and their excuse of ReAlIsM is nonsense and the new rof feels very artificial
magdumping at close range already wasnt a smat idea as it would quickly empty your reserves. but hey, it was better than being dead
