IL-2, Pe-3 are practically indestructable because this superpatriotic company said so. If they have spotted you they claw on your ass like they want to kiss your starfish until you’re dead, like 2 hits later. So if i don’t go after them with my brick Stuka or Heinschel i’ll die soon anyway. So i have to rudder like a maniac to keep up, blasting 2 full mags into an IL-2, counted 28 hits at least, and this MF is still flying like nothing happened! I got to fly back to my reload-point and as i was just a few meters away i got shot in the ass by this black-smoking IL-2 i was on for minutes. So again i try to outmaneuver this plane built by God himself, managed to make another more hits and this MF is still flying! In no recorded history of this world has any plane kept flying after getting swiss-cheesed by dozens of hits!
Same with the Pe-3 or even the small russki fighter bi-plane. This is even worse than it is in War Thunder.
No matter how extremely damaged the planes are, smokin’ like Uncle Jimmy, the old chimney, they keep flying and going for your nuts. It also seems to be a new trend that they just ram your plane broken because they still can keep flying while you’re plummeting to death. I could never shoot any russian plane down. I just got the kills because the player left the plane or they crashed when attacking the ground forces again. I also have recorded several matches where this can be seen.
that is because of the broken DMs so not really the planes with themselves, and ironically enough the german CAS focused planes, so your stukas, bf110s, ju-188s, tend to be consider the more overpowered planes when considering that 80% of the targets are land based at most so larger payloads tend to be more ideal which is why most allied players tend to love p-47, that one russian bomber, and a-20 for CAS
This sounds like a big learn to play issue
I have no issue shooting any slav planes down with either the 109 in Moscow or the 109 in Berlin

Nevermind that I’d honestly go so far as to say you’re missing quite a bit or just filling the tail which is a well known damage soak with your bullets instead of the wings, engine, or pilot. Which is really what’s preventing you from downing planes in your Hs123.

here there is no need to help the aircraft damage model will be made of shit, but the advantage of enlisted is that even a CAS can take down a fighter in one on one if you know how to fly if you don’t know how to do it then you just look for excuses, on war thunder it is the same there are bomber pilots who do more kills than a fighter
If War Thunder players could just point out what the OP was doing wrong, the vehicle balance issues wouldn’t be flooding the forums. It’s fucking disgusting at this point. But unfortunately that doesn’t happen. It’s always, you suck, the plane is fine.
If you are a beginner, it’s not fine when you aim for the only thing that makes sense when flying the plane, the reticle, dump your ammo and still watch the enemy plane fly like nothing happened. It’s the same for every other weapon in game. Explains a lot as to why the forums have gone to shit since OBT began.
I wasn’t expecting any help, beside that i played WT for years. Any forum is toxic, filled with a lot of smart asses just lying how super-op they are while eating dry ramen. Just waiting for the one dude to come in who claims he has spit down a plane while getting rockets in the face, not taking a scratch.
