Could you please concider changing the second point of the maisky forestry where the axis(atleased used to be axis exclusive) have to attack across the river?
It is the only map that is always instant desert for me as attacking across the river is painful AF.
My problems with that part are

  1. Swimming throu the river is so slow and if you can get a foothold across the river fast you will do that for ages.
  2. Tank HE is super effective against swimming targets meaning once the tanks are in place you cant really cross the river without massive losses.
  3. Even if you managed to swim across your bots will take another 30 seconds until they do aswell.
  4. Getting across the river is meaningless if your engi got sniped as you cant bring enough man power to contest the point without one.
  5. There are next to no viable spots for rally points that arent exposed meaning the enemy have to only guard those places which is way easier than to assault them across the river. In addition the enemy will always know where to look for them.
  6. Once the RP is lost it is back to swimming.
  7. Attacking tanks have only ONE way to cross the river meaning 2 or 3 AT mines or a few well placed wrecks make them unable to push in at all.
  8. Even if a tank sits back to support by shelling the point it isnt as meaningfull as the upper floor of the forestry seams to soak up all the HE explosion.
  9. Unless the enemy team is clueless af there is little hope of capturing the point without expending most of your tickets by only the second point of 5…

Nice rework of maps, when update?

I agree. Just 1 campaign over and over and over. Feels like when you grind the entire research tree for a faction and play BR5 you are punished with being stuck in 1 campaign. :frowning:

i woud see this maps in BR5 as i have BR V , at start buttons i have battles III-V ,But i play only Stalingrad of Berlin maps and i am begining to be sick of this maps to be honest, i mist Moscow maps, as they are the best. Stalingrad / Berlin looks gray and mostly ugly. Most maps almost useless for tanks and plains, as you fight most time inside the buildings.

Why doesn’t Tunisia look anything like Tunisia? This game needs maps that look like history, if they can’t do the equipment right, at least. :face_with_monocle:

That’s why having Italian campaign would be great since we could have Battle of Monte Cassino with option to add new Polish, British and Italian squads/vehicles/weapons (premium, event, gold and free unlockables) also new customization for soldiers

They should do Egypt and El Alamein maps they would be much easier to make since it’s mostly desert we really need more maps around open maps with hills not just city maps. Just increase vehicle count to 6-8, add 5 bots for each side and we could have something different and more chaotic than other maps/modes. Devs would probably disagree since PS4 would not run it but i think it’s time to move on from outdated hardware from 2013, any phone released in past few years is stronger than that piece of junk.

Are there any plans to add any new locations in 2024? Mediterranean Theater needs some love:

  • A Crete map with the Maleme Airfield and the port town of Chania would add depth to the Mediterranean Theater. It would also provide a backdrop for a German offensive operation against Commonwealth troops (British and New Zealanders defended Crete)

  • A Sicily map with the Primasole Bridge would make for a great setting.

  • A Northern Italian map with Anzio, Cisterna, and Velletri would be a great setting with tons of potential.

  • A Southern Italian map with Salerno, Cassino, the Garigliano and Rapido Rivers would have tons of potential.

River battles; Beachhead breakout battles; Kesselring’s Gustav Line; Bridge battles; Bridge DESTRUCTIONS (why aren’t Bridge destructions the main focus of destruction maps???) Gun destructions, Rail destructions, Airfield destructions, Amphibious assault by Germans, British Commandos, Low tier German Fallschirmjäger, mountain battles, Italian vistas, Mount Vesuvius erupting, The Hermann Goering Fallschirm-Panzer Division…

…why have you guys not added more locations to the Mediterranean Theater? It’s got a ridiculous amount of potential!!

probably because DF already shared all upcoming changes already and now we are just waiting for the next major update which should happen in a few days once they made the necessary bug fixes.

I would love to see more news/informations about account transfer to steam tho. The end for q1 is pretty soon, ±2 weeks away.

A helper said in the Russian segment that something was almost coming yesterday but they didn’t make it in time, so I’d guess most likely news/event in ~40 minutes incoming.
