The movement and gunplay do not fit the realistic graphics.
When I play this game it feels like this game is not a military game, but some cartoon game.
It feels really out of place.
It feels like I’m playing battlefield heroes in first person:
people use to play this game really slow because of it, they camp and take mid-long engagements, this is an issue to this point that when i was joining this game I’ve been watching to some cc that been saying that “this is not slow game, althought it feels like it, it’s not, it’s not HLL, you have to rush for the objectives” this games fails at telling you what it is and should be played like. it did hit me hard, i really wanted this game to be slower as it feels like it would be, but it’s not, so it’s just something i deeply in my heart wish that would change, but don’t wanna ask for it anymore. not to mention all of these tools like shovels binos canteens bracing that doesn’t fit this game AT ALL in squads, maybe in LF but not squads. I mean why would you brace your weapon if you can just peak and hide and make far mor kills? such a failure.
I doubt the devs themselfs had idea how they thought this game is going to be played.
Its just that the rather “poor” ticket system forces attackers to overwhelm the caps otherwise they run out of tickets unlike defenders that doesnt have tickets to start with.
Summary for this would be, all the time spend anywhere else than CQC / close to cap points.
Is wasted time & wasted tickets.
So there really isnt time for “mid-range” BA combats as theyr quite pointless from attacker pow.
I suppose with the silly dispersion they had idea to decrease automatics effectivenes at mid-range but since you can carry 2 weapons it didnt really change anything, except made ppl lifes rather miserable.
Dont really think this could compete with games that has that slower pace such as HLL.
imo defenders need some kind of tickets too, but to make them respawn slower rather that not at all.
and don’t get me wrong by any means i do not want this game to become something alike HLL, this is completely different game, but, i wish there be like bigger objectives bcs this games feels lot of the times very chaotic and not in a good way because i know this is suppose to create epic battlefield feeling but for me it’s more often epic annoying feeling, i think bigger objectives or shaped different like battle line would do the thing. It would fairly decrease all this chaos and spam.
At least Keofox plays the game. I think they are somewhat clear about the game situation but either like it or dont care/ have any real long- or even mid-term solutions for them.
Something indeed could be done, as currently in theory there is 2 attacking teams. For defenders its best to push the attackers far as possible and the lack of tickets does indeed favor this.
And to become one would require entirely different playerbase to be even remotely satisfying.
Bigger caps indeed could work, would work even better if defenders got some sort of ticket pool as well.
Spam has unfortunately been part of the game in some form all the time. At times it has even been unbearable making the game unplayable.
Even currently in some campaigns, WP everywhere + small cap points.
I think its safe to assume they havent put much thought on it anyway, as theres alot of squads that remains technically useless etc.
I guess currently theyr “happy” with the sandbox way, allowing everyone do what ever they want.
And let the playerbase set the “meta”
Im yet to see any thread where you are not Adam. Man, best was probably when people asked for Oceania and Asia servers and your genius feedback was “You can always move on to EU or America.”
Reality is that someone who joined the forum in December 22 doesnt have much clue and keep having less likes than literally anyone else doesnt really speak up for many people.
