We can’t have planes dying as it’s now a Gajin game. Just look at WT and how busted are planes there they are now turning game into WT 2.0

This is pretty cope take.

Had WW1 continued in 1919-1920 Most major combatant nations were moving towards self-loading rifle adaptation. Its peace and peacetime economics that kept bolties in use into early WW2.

The Boys ATR is just Anti Air in my hands, against that Japanese sea plane.

With Fedorov 1912, Winchester 1866, and this trend going on, a couple BPs later we’ll see this “we couldn’t deprive Faction X of a pleasant new addition”.

Thats a Camel Technical, and no one can tell me otherwise. This is the ye olden day Toyota Hilux.

burton model 1917 was designed to shoot down observation balloons
Fedorov Avtomat was a LMG like BAR1918 or Chauchat
ribeyrolles 1918 failed hard at even semi-auto firing

The truth is that WW1 was too muddy and dirty for self-loading rifles which were too prone to failures at that time.

A couple more BP’s and Dark Force will be introducing Flintocks.

The Bipod/prone alone was enough to make it difficult to use. (cos bipods be bipods…)

Then to slap on BR 2 for an AT rifle (where launchers are needed) is over heavy handed…on a unique weapon…

Totally “worth” grinding for 10 days to get them. DF forget about their Wz. 35 squad with 37mm of pen (should be 40mm at 5m as told by multiple polish sources). Plus it’s a BR1 AT weapon and doesn’t require you to go prone and die.

OMG, not everything needs to be 100% the same, nor does everything need to be constantly nerfed. What the hell is wrong with you people?

When will the prices be revised? Why does a weapon like the Fedorov 1912, which is in BR2, cost 750?

That’s not the point.

There’s a reason why most WW1 designs were replaced/vastly overhauled by the time WW2 kicked in.

Germany didn’t stick with MP-18 and MG-15, they got themselves MP-38 and MG-34.
Russia dropped all Fedorov creations when none of them were reliable and foolproof enough.
USA were kind of late to the party in WW1, so their designs like BAR and Annihilator only needed gradual refinements.

The point is that it’s ridiculous to see obsolete, cancelled, ancient technology like Fedorov Avtomat/Rifle/3-burst fake appear on higher BRs, performing better than standard WW2 weapons.

who ever is in charge of “balance” has to be fired. He clearly isnt playing this game or understand game mechanics.

Yeah except my statement stands:

Both French and British were to replace all bolties with Semis. US was aiming for the BAR to be the main weapon. Russia had its turmoil but had order for 25k Federov Avtomats in 1917.

Only Germany is lacking here in terms of large scale production orders to my knowledge.

My statement remains the same.

I mean, if the Type 97 is heavier and can be shoulder fired in game then doesn’t it make sense to allow the lighter rifle to also be shoulder fired?

(Or just make all AT rifles in game have to be used prone or mounted)

Glad I was wrong about it being delayed. New prone mechanic is pretty lame.

Nobody at DF is playing the game outside of CM and Alpha testers. Even this update was all about hype to sell preorder jet packs. No new maps, no changes to the gameplay, just nothing new outside of few new shiny weapons/4 jets and one reworked map. 5 months for this

the AT rifle is a great addition, winchester also cool and can be fun if it performs well.
but: these vehicle skins are unexciting, especially if theyre on inferior vehicles (t28e >>> t50).

also 80% of all gold order soldiers are undertiered, many even with imperfect stats (still not fixed). every single new gold order soldier needs to be max tier, in this case assaulter-4.
its just unnecessarily low quality work to add such undertiered gold soldiers.

edit: one of the best things about this AT rifle is that its stronger than others but nicely compensated with the forced bipod mechanic. THIS principle should be used on many weapons, espcially low tier weapons to give them stronger but harder to use equivalents.

Holy, I thought ppsh45 was the bottom line. Useless crap upon useless crap. Can the devs play their own game? These should be rewards for supply drop events, not for bp.
Also, the bias against Germany really needs to stop. Does anyone actually think 50mm of penn is impressive? Good luck using that in an uptier br3 battle or against t50 and m3.
Besides, what’s the point of koko rifle when Fedorov 1912 is just added to the techtree? Where are good German br2 and br3 semis?

Except it’s not stronger,
WZ 35 (BR1) = 37mm of pen - doesn’t requires you to go prone
Solothurn (BR2) = probably ~40-45mm of pen + requires you to go prone
Type 97 AT Rifle (BR1) = 45mm of pen - doesn’t requires you to go prone
PTRS-41 (BR1) = 40mm of pen - doesn’t requires you to go prone
It’s a total crap weapon even with 50mm of pen it’s a joke vs even crappiest Sturmpistole that takes eternity to reload.
