yeah, its a tight margin here. this AT really needs reliable 50mm pen, with low pen drop off on 100m distance. also the post penetration damage needs to be high.
in other words: it needs to be 20-30% stronger than the jap at rifle to be worth the br2 rating and slow way of use.
i hope df didnt fuck up this.

Nobody will be using AT rifles that requires you to go prone at BR2 and also gets punished by laughably bad penetration (we will see their numbers very soon). At BR2 you need to have at least 70mm of pen for it to matter otherwise demo pack/tnt or just using bombs/your tank is a more viable strategy. if itâs 70mm of pen for real then it may not be bad but knowing DF they wouldnât give ahistorical values for German weapons anyway.

Why? Are you afraid thatâs the other team might have something a little different than youâll have? Does everything on each faction have to be exactly the same as all the other factions? How boring! Basically, youâd be using the exact same weapons on each faction. You people worry and complain way too much about nothing!

Nobody will be using that gun at all if itâs crap at BR2. And i bet it will have below 50mm of pen which is a death sentence with that prone+bipod requirement.

Yeah itâs mediocre and not worth using vs Sturmpistole or Grb-39. It has 10mm better pen that irl but still not enough vs BR2-3 tanks.

I mean, not everything new has to be better than everything we had before, either.
And not every new BP skin needs to be for the best vehicle of that BR (T-50 and not T-28E skin Reee)
It just needs to be WW2 and a nice addition, IMO.
Like I would much rather see SdKfz 222 and Ju 87 Kanonenvogel 37mm even if they are not the ânew best thingâ on their BR rather than yet again more fake power creep stuff like prototype 1712 self loading assault rifle on BR3 or BR5 E-100.

Yeah we are not penning much with this gun. It will be used exclusively as a tool of destroying tank barrels and nothing else.

I dont think anyone is complaining about that. Its just the fact that we arent even getting full vehicles anymore and the skin is low effort

Grb-39 destroyed two tanks in two heat shots with lazy shots not aiming at all. Do you really think that AT rifle could compete against that?
