Shooting down planes used to be possible with Machinegun from ground or from Tanks, this is no longer the case anymore, Tanks are too tanky to take down. I don’t know what the devs were thinking when they buff planes hp, but fighting on air its extremely hard to take down a plane as show on this reddit post
Planes HP should be reverted back, idk why the Devs decided it was a good idea to buff Planes Health
Infantry on ground should be able to gun down planes with their machineguns, and please for the love of god buff Anti Air Gun. Its so bad against Planes and has little to no ammunition.
Anti tank gun as well, its completely useless against Higher Tier Tanks and takes too long to build and very easy to destroy. You are a million times better if you just go with Explosive Packs
So let me get this straight… the guy arguing on other posts that its not historically accurate for plane bombs to be nerfed for balance… is also arguing that its okay to make ground weapons one hit planes for balance…?
Sorry i meant Planes not Tanks that was a Typo. Machineguns should be able to gun down Aircrafts though, they are paper thin armor like the Puma. You can take out a puma by just shooting it with machinegun
I was never against planes bombing nerfs, the other poster were only saying Nerfing the German Bombs, while saying nothing in return for the US and other factions. If German Bombs were nerfed, all rockets and all bombs from other faction should as well, it makes no sense otherwise
US late game gets the superior rockets with HVAR, and can still carry 1 500lb bomb with the P-47D, its probably the best plane in Normandy imo. German planes late game all lost their bombs and rockets btw. While the US keeps them, i know this for a fact sine I play US too and more on US
For the Bombs loads needs lessened on Ju-188 sure, take away one bomb and gives it the Anti Air capacity
You got 132 kills… with 15 deaths, and obviously played a lot of tanks in that match too with a best tanker award and 160 assists. So what you’re showing is you’re perfectly willing to make obviously false claims to try and make your point… Nice to know.
I’ve only spawn as a Jumbo once as I like playing Jumbo. 60 assists equals to 25 kills. So in total I have a total of 100 kills on Planes. If you don’t know what you’re talking about don’t even bother?
You get 5 assist per 1 Tank Kill. so its 25 kills as a Tank. I can still get a crap ton of Kills as US with playing Planes only, but there is a thing called Teammates occupying the Pilot Space. so playing the plane whole game is very much impossible
and with US planes having the bigger Impact is true on Late Game. German planes lost their bombs and rockets as I said. Im someone who actually plays both side to know this for a fact, unlike individuals who only plays the US faction. Your view will be biased as you only play the US, without knowing anything about the Germans.
Except it says 160 assists… And its an assist for every living crew member that is not player controlled. I have no idea how many crew members are alive at any given time in your game. But it would be at least 40 kills

We’ve already done this in a different post… I play both sides too. Its just that your an ass who thinks everyone with a different opinion must not play Germany.
I have a Rank 5 Pilot, a max A-20 and rocking very high kills with Planes on US pair with the P-51 J, roughly the same on Germany. The effectiveness of both is similar. But US will come up on top once you unlock the P47
Well it doesn’t matter much, regardless i agree it might be a good screenshot, But getting above 100+ kills above with the plane is not hard at all bud. I have close to everything maxed out already on Planes
I never said it wasn’t. I’ve argued for bomb payload to have a lower blast radius. I posted here because you keep stating things that contradict each other everywhere you go
A guy on Reddit posted his the other day with 252 kills, im not that great with planes but i can get high kills too since it doesnt require much skills
Planes would need to be nerf but if they are nerfed Germany shouldnt be the only one that subjects to Nerf is what im saying. US planes is quite equal and is as strong as Germany ones. Lv23 on Germany only has Cannons no bombs or planes, i have linked screenshot of my plane u can see it. Only cannons, same with the one that unlocked at level 27, its a Fighter. Ju-188 is the only bomber with extra bomb, but cannot defend itself with no guns.
4 x 20 mm MG 151 cannons, wing-mounted (140 rpg outer + 250 rpg inner = 780 total)
2 x 13 mm MG 131 machine guns, nose-mounted (400 rpg = 800 total)
US on 27 get the p47 with HVAR rockets and 1 500lb bomb, its the superior plane.
