Jonson and Lee-Enfield reload speeds are in the 3 second range, but why does the Type 4 rifle take more than 5 seconds?
At the current reload speed, the Type 4 rifle is inferior to the BR3’s M1 Garand despite being a BR4’s so please improve it.

In the old days, the loading time was around 3.8 to 4.2s After the merge line was updated, they deteriorated the

Nah. Just move it to BR3.

So personally, while I would like a reload buff I cant say that its totally necessary.
I use Type 4s across multiple soldiers in BR 4 and dont really have issues. It does require a few things for a proper setup tho.
You need to make sure that the soldier who has it equipped also has the reload speed perk maxed. Managing ammo is a must, make sure you only reload with the 5rd clips rather than individual rounds. Finally make sure you have a pistol for those moments where you get caught reloading.
Its a really strong rifle otherwise.
I have no clue why they’ve nerfed it in the first place.

That’s because Japan isn’t fighting a faction that has the benefit of magazine-based SA rifles or well-performing SMGs. They’re also protected from BR5 equipment due to their special matchmaking bracket.
It is inherently flawed due to the reload time, which means it should be at the same tier as G41s.
