found out yesterday when it broke my scrapper… idk what warranted that change…
Probably to protect players since you can take action on that site, and it would be stupid if non-players or even bots could report some guy for cheating/unsportsmanlike conduct.
Just a guess.

if that was the reason, it would have been smarter to just enable reporting when you are logged in and normal download when you are not.
well have fixed scrapper, but it was annoyance when everything was ok before.

Personally, all the games are one sided ass kicking’s anyway so I have no desire to watch the replays. 
well replays can be somewhat useful when looking for cheater. although i use it for gathering data about playerbase.

Replay is fun when you manage to make an impossible move work when a pilot.
Or understand tactics your opponents or allies mightve used.
Or just to watch again a battle you’re particularly proud of

It’s a fun feature. Those trying to find cheaters however… have a lot of free time to waste.
Literally, in about 25 games the past two days jumping between level 3 Germans and Russians, I have only been past the first control point a couple times. These competitiveness is getting worse all the time. I’m thinking about not playing for a few days and playing some of the other games I have, at least they are competitive and far less frustrating. 
However, I need 3,500 points to get my 20k for two days, so I will endure the agony for a couple more games.
when someone posts accusation for cheating i like to check if it is actually cheater or shit player making accusation… usually lasts about less than 5 minutes to check if it is one or the other. 99% it is just shit player making accusation.
No need to call me out like that… 
Oh there’s a difference between someone checking an accusation report to see if it’s true, like you and @robihr , and someone screening his own entire matchs because he imagine cheaters everywhere

Try br2 matches. Surprisingly, those net me an average of 7k xp per match, while higher br ones, between 4 and 5k. Higher br match migh be faster though

It’s just part of my job. If someone reports to me about a possible cheater, I have to look into it. And honestly, I’m happy to.
It’s just par for the course.

honestly i would like if people actually screened their matches before accusing people. so many people just yell cheaters everywhere without doing any actual check if player was cheating or not. ffs it is not rare that someone reports absolutely shit player for cheating cause of one sus kill that was either lucky or it was cause of some broken game mechanism…

Haven’t they always? I mean you have to launch the game just to watch them anyways
you could download them without requiring login and watch them later. just PC stuff
I’ve always read that launching the game was a mandatory step
for consoles maybe, for pc not. you could easily download 100 replays from browser and just watch them all later.

watch replay requires you logged into the game, download replay doesnt require being logged in the game.

this is not only about watching/downloading replays, but just for checking info about match you now have to be logged in when before you didnt need to.
