Those are the Game Masters lol, players who volunteer to watch replays, if the operation is like War Thunder they get no real payout. It’s basically free labour for the profit of a multi-million dollars company.

Well yeah! I mean, the whole point of going BR3 is that you’re going to either be absolutely dominating all the BR2 people…unless you stumble across a lot of BR3s in a BR2-3 match - OR, you’re going to get roflstomped b/c you got lumped in with a BR3-5 match.

BR3 is a big risk/big reward level to play. It’s also a low risk/big reward way to play, particularly if someone were to bail all the time a BR3s got dropped into a BR3-5 match.

As @Conscript_Joe mentioned - at BR2, you still run up against the BR3 stuff, but it’s about 1 out of 5 times or so.

Out of all the levels I play, level 1-3 Germans or Russians seems to be the best as far as being somewhat competitive. I used to play almost exclusively level 3 with Allies and Germans, but my Allies haven’t been competitive in a long time, and being occasionally dumped into level 5 doesn’t help.

I just started trying to build my level 3 Russians, so I have spent a lot of time playing them trying to build experience, and just a few days ago was on here praising DF because for the first time in half a year, I actually had almost two days full of competitive matches where I’ll say 70% went well beyond the third objective, and many were down to the final with the game not decided till the final seconds. But since then has been absolutely the worst I can think of in quite some time. It seemed like no matter who I played with the past couple days, no match was going past the first objective, and I wasn’t on the losing side of all those. So, I am going to finish out the current event, then maybe take some time off from playing as I have other games I like that I have been neglecting.

What is funny is that I am 60, old and retired and have lots of time to play, however both my kids, one age 31 and the other 18 BOTH quit playing Enlisted a year ago because they said it wasn’t fun anymore. I got my Filipina girlfriends 15 year old son into Enlisted where for a few weeks played as much as he could, then quit. I ask him on occasion if he wants to play as I just want him to play and earn me some experience and coin and he always says no, that game is boring. So, at least in my experience, non competitive games are losing Enlisted young players more so then old saps like me. I actually have more fun building squads now then playing them.

Yeah, I’m on the other side of 50 as well. Still play a lot with my son though.

My plan is to field BR2, BR3 and BRV sets of squads. I want to be able to play the cool end game tanks and guns, but I’ve played it just enough to realize it really is a sweat-fest.

BR2, for me, is about my speed. It’s just plain more competitive. I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say “get to the third objective” or whatever - seems every match has to get to every objective one way or another.

Unless you mean that it remains competitive that long. In which case, I would say that the BR2 scene definitely remains completive, and I bounce around on ALL of the squads.

I guess the irony for me is that my Allies are far any away my most experienced, having played over 400 games on that side. But ever since going 100% “play any army” - I’ve played almost 80 times as Germans and another 40 for Japan. So, it’s been a huge switch for me! But, with the new economy, it actually sparked some life into my game as the rewards for going random and the cheaper costs for BR1 & 2 meant I felt like I was leveling up a new gun or tank every battle. Was cool!

Not sure I can comment on why “young people aren’t playing” - I’m not sure I agree with it. I still see a ton of console players and I’d wager a majority of those are young. Particularly since the game is free.

Do they make it all the way to BR3 (where things remain more expensive)? That’s a good question, and it’s likely that start of the grind and the lack of attention span that has crept into civilization since the dawn of the Internet and especially cell phones…who knows! But I digress.

I have over 1,600 matches played with allies, almost 850 with Germans and close to maybe 325 with Russians. My Allies are maxed in every level and since I have completed the Tech tree have over 2 million research points waiting to use on something. :joy: My Germans I had maxed squads in every level, but have since sold off a lot of my level 5 kit for the silver at one time to use on other Allied squads. I do have maxed squads for Germans in 1-3, and level 2-4 and have be rebuilding my level 5 Germans. I am now researching the last German Tech tree item, a Tank then it will be done. Russians I just started from scratch right after the previous rank reset, so I have maxed out units for level 1-3 and am getting close to having my level 2-4 maxed out as well. I have a few level 5 squads and some level 5 weapons, but not enough really to play with. So, the vast majority of my level 3 playing this past week was with Russians, and about a third Germans. My Japanese, just the base level 1 starter squad I think with one premium assaulter squad, but I have only played 11 total games in over 2.5 years with them.

Like you, I prefer level 1-3 as it does seem to offer the most even competition, at least with Russians or Germans. Allies is the only unit I have an all level 1 team, so I can play 1-2 if I want, but rarely do.
